Great. - It was a great day, between swimming and discovery. Lena knows the islands like her pocket and answers all our questions. I highly recommend it.

A Personalized Guadeloupe Experience – Beyond Expectations - When my original group tour in Guadeloupe was canceled due to a lack of participants, I was initially disappointed. However, thanks to Lena—the incredible guide—it turned into one of the most memorable parts of my trip. With only one day available, I reached out and was able to negotiate a private half-day tour, and Lena was more than willing to make it happen. She crafted a thoughtful and enriching itinerary that included natural hot baths, a banana plantation, and a stunning black sand beach. Lena’s deep knowledge of Guadeloupe’s culture, nature, and history brought each stop to life, and her warm, accommodating nature made the experience feel personal and special. What could have been a missed opportunity became a highlight, all thanks to Lena’s flexibility and passion for sharing her island. I highly recommend reaching out to her if you're looking for an authentic and adaptable way to explore Guadeloupe!

Great tour of Basse Terre :) - We had a perfect trip with Lena, she was friendly and helpful and took us to less well known but equally beautiful spots. We saw so much of Basse Terre, perfect as we didn’t have a car. Thank you!

A wonderful day! - We had a great day with Lena, who made us discover Basse-Terre with passion while sharing the rich and fascinating history of Guadeloupe. The excursion was perfectly organized: we were able to visit many beautiful places, while taking our time to enjoy it fully, without ever feeling like running. Many thanks for this authentic and rewarding experience!

Great times in Lowland with Lena - Superb day with Lena who made us discover the south of Basse Terre. She told us about her island with passion. Lena brought us from one idyllic place to another (waterfall in the forest, swimming with turtles, hot bath , etc..,) . In short, a perfect day.

Great day! - Such a lovely day with Lena. We reschedule this earlier in our trip and it was so helpful to get familiar with the island. It’s different climates. It’s history and some great sites. Waterfall swims, great snorkeling, finest black sand, yummy lunch, banana plantation and great views. Lena is a wealth of knowledge and we liked her perspective on things

Nice guide, unprofessional service - Positive: the guide was nice and artistic/free-spirited as a person though not from Guadeloupe. I would have been happy with this tour if it was given by a friend for free, but super disappointed as we paid a pretty high fee in our local currency and expected a professional tour. Constructive feedback (as we want you to succeed long-run-- these are super important). 1) Greeting: If we are paying money, the tour guide needs to be outside of the vehicle with a clear sign/umbrella/bright shirt that let's us know who and where they are exactly. They need to be very clear and share vehicle (if different from a tour bus)/ method people will recognize you BEFORE. Unfortunately, our guide stayed in their personal unmarked car and left without us. The guide needs to assume that it will be hard to coordinate in real time by phone with foreigners (our e-sim wasn't working very well on the island). We worried for a moment that it was a scam as it was so unclear and the guide was seemingly unreachable from the three cells we borrowed to try and contact them. 2) Customer service: When we finally connected to the guide and drove 25 mins to finally catch up (thank god our ride looped back to make sure we had connected with the guide, otherwise we would have been stranded), the guide said defensively "I figured it wasn't you. Anyways, you're here now." There was no apology or customer care given our inconvenience. We understand the guide's bus was in the garage, but their car's trunk was full of their personal items and messy, not clear and ready for paying guests and their things. 2) False advertising. We understand the itinerary is not set, but: - We expected entrance fees at the locations the guide showed us (tour description said fees cover entrance fees), but all locations had no entrance fees. - At the minimum, we needed water as the car was very hot and had little to no air conditioning. The itinerary hinted at a sunset apperitif/beverage while swimming with turtles but we swam in the morning and had nothing. My husband needed a lifejacket but there was none. - We needed a foreseen place to change as several locations had us swimming/getting wet but we were told to sit in the warm car wet between locations or change in the open. Even seat covers would have been appreciated so that when we were in dry clothes we didn't have to sit in wet. Wishing the guide luck, while expecting improvement.
