A day with Zoltan at the Normandy D-Day sites - Zoltan was our tour guide for our wonderful day in Normandy visiting Pont du Hoc, Omaha beach, Juno beach, and the American D-Day Cemetary. Zoltan was a soldier in the Hungarian armed forces, was fluent in several languages including English and he knew WWII history quite well. We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the D-Day Historical sights with limited time.

A gift of a trip. - Powerful, meaningful, and so grateful to have had the chance to experience first hand the locations weve heard about for so long. Particularly meaningful to have been lead by our guide - Patrick. He lead us to each location with historical events that happened there and his sharing of the history made the whole tour even more powerful. So grateful to have taken one whole day away from Paris for this trip. The American cemetery, cliffs climbed by rangers .... walking Through German bunkers..... all with the chance to enjoy witnessing French families on their days at the beach and celebrating the gifts of today's life. Don't miss this opportunity

Being There Gives You So Much More Than Any Words Can Describe - A tour is nothing without someone being there with you to describe in detail what you are seeing first-hand and sensing as to what took place. Our tour guide Zoltarn was that person. Zoltarn had a military background and security background that would impress anyone (to say the least) who happened to listen and pay attention. His knowledge of the history, details, numbers, facts, names, statistics, operations, personnel, equipment, weaponry, aircrafts, tanks, ships, boats . . ., importance of the “shovel” . . ., and a list of others; along with the details from start to finish of the entire tour . . ., which was amazing . . ., yet, heart-breaking and sad for the ones that were there, and for their families, in the moments/era of the war. Additionally, his detailed knowledge of the cemetery was extremely impressive and appreciated. He knew every detail of the tour from the very start to very finish: the traffic, the rest stops and historical stops, what to expect at the rest stops and historical stops, how long at the rest stops and historical stops, what to buy at the rest stops and historical stops, where to eat, what to eat and what not to eat (literally). He shared his personal background and experiences of what it was like to be shelled and shot at, and what the soldiers likely endured at the battle sites. He pointed out the large craters in the landside, the shrapnel still in the concrete structures and in the blown-up concrete pieces. He described the features and conditions: within the structures, at the beaches, in the sky, in the water, on the land, and others. He kept a very needed rigid schedule (most likely from his military background), which helped in so many ways to maintain arriving back at the desired time for the tour. He often asked if everyone was comfortable in the bus, such as with the air conditioning. He pointed out many-many things of interest along the way in general, and of educational value along the way. The tour is to see first-hand: the important historical sites, and to remember and honor those who served and/or gave their lives in the war . . ., and on D-Day.

Awesome Trip - Guide person, Zotan, was excellent and very knowledgeable. Since it our group contained only individuals from USA, he tailored the trip to us. Very enjoyable. Just know that the Bus ride is a long one from Paris but that coach bus was very comfortable. Plenty of time was allowed for personal breaks and lunch.

Rushed excursion - Long trip, rushed. Not enough time to spend in each area. People who paid to have lunch never got to eat. Took to long to prepare and bus had to go.
