A must do if your in the area - We had the best time on this tour DeRoy was very informative he made sure we were safe on the busy roads. We were not new to Ebike riding but our friends had never been on them before and they did very well with the instructions that were given. If you are in the area I highly reccommend you take the tour . The sights are a wide range and we even got to stop in at the local market.

Well worth it - These guys are the best! King and Doylan (I'm not sure if I'm remembering his name correctly) really made this an enjoyable experience. Very funny, charismatic guys. This tour was very educational and eye-opening, because you get to see parts of Antigua that you'd never see on your own, including the streets of St. John's. Highly worth it.

Can’t miss tour of Antigua - We did this tour today and I couldn’t wait to write a review to share our experience. We had a fantastic time and felt safe through the entire experience. The guides started with a tutorial on how to operate the e-bikes and what to expect from the tour. After a short practice ride, we were off- riding through the city, through villages, visiting a church, beaches, and the fort. We encountered some traffic in the city but the guides did a great job controlling the traffic and the cars were respectful and allowed our whole group to stay together. The views were incredible and we were able to learn the history and the culture of the island in a very short time. There were 6 of us on the tour (my husband and myself and another group of 4) so it felt like a private tour even though the other group was strangers at the beginning of the tour. It was both exclusive and inclusive at the same time. We have been on a lot of tours/excursions and this was one of the best.

Amazingly fun day with Fat Tire E-bikes! - We had an absolutely fabulous experience with Fat Tire. I made the reservations over the phone, and was immediately sent an email confirmation with all the details. We are at a resort and actually had to take a taxi to meet them at a small church as the meeting point, and they were right on time. So King was our main guide, with Delroy biking behind us, and Rafael driving the truck, which carried our backpack and ice cold waters for us. King was fantastic and fun. We went to a Rastafarian tabernacle, Dows Hill Interpretation Center, Shirley’s Lookout point, Nelson’s Dockyard and finished Pigeon Point Beach. Each stop was appropriately educational, and the views were just absolutely amazing. If you want to see drop-dead views of southern Antigua coastline and the English Harbour, this is the tour for you. Most importantly, the E-biking was soooo much fun. It was extremely easy to cruise with, and we zipped up the big mountains like nothing. We barely pedaled all day - our fingers did 95% of the accelerating and braking. We all had helmets, and it was very safe too. This was by far one of the most fun tours we have ever taken. King and the crew at Fat Tire are top notch!

Awesome experience, thanks guys ! - We had a great time biking around and seeing the sites, the fort was awesome to see along with stopping at mystic beach bar for a drink and to take in the view.
We apprenticed that there is another guide in a vehicle behind us to help with traffic control.
The bikes are easy to use and comfy.
Delroy (sorry if we spelt it wrong) was great giving us additional information on the local communities we passed through, I found it useful that he would let us know what speed to have it in and used clear hand signals which were easy to follow. I am sorry I didn’t catch the drivers name but he was awesome too making sure we were safe.
Thanks guys !!

A Safe & Interesting E-Bike Tour - When you visit the island, you have to be concerned if an e-bike tour can be safe. The way Fat Tire runs this tour, it is. We took the Historic Tour in the South Central Area of the island. We can’t speak of the St. John tour, but if they follow the same practices, you will be fine. The main benefit is they have two extra guides that are for traffic control. They will help block and /or control traffic at intersections if needed. The majority of our time was on the side roads, roads less traveled and the extra help worked well on the busy thoroughfares. We never felt unsafe. They also have a trailing truck that keeps the public traffic a car length away and they are also there to address any maintenance issues, battery changes etc.
You ride the island with an earpiece that allows you to hear most of what the lead guide is pointing out as you travel. The majority of the good content is at the various stops where other guides, specific to the location, walk you through the site. The historic island locations helped us get an understanding of the history of the island. As always, chat up the guides and be friendly, they will share all kinds of good stories about their way of life.
The historic tour requires visitor passes to the National Parks, which cost $15 USD extra per person which we paid in cash at the first National Parks site.
The overall time of the tour was about four hours and it was a good experience for us. This was our second e-bike tour as a group so we were already through the learning curve of how to operate the bikes. This is a little hilly of a route, with some potholes and poorly patched asphalt to navigate. I would not take children on this route, it is too technical for little ones. Athletic, early teens or teens 16 and older have no problem navigating this one.

E-bike tour in St John’s - We had a great experience on this e-bike tour. This was a first for me and as an adventure lover, it fit the bill. The guides were awesome - friendly, funny, made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to see some different things.

Fun way to get around - To be honest not much really to see, bikes were fun and King & Delroy made the tour fun and we’re a pleasure to meet.
Antigua roads are lethal so keep your eyes focused, pot holes, traffic 🤦♀️

Fun idea but not what we expected - Antingua is a beautiful island with welcoming people but this tour didn't show us the best parts of the island. We did enjoy Fort James and the beach and the birds and the guides were polite.
