A wonderful and an unforgettable experience - My husband and I went for his birthday retreat in Cairo, Egypt. We used the Tifficss travel hub for advice on places to visit and where to explore Egypt. They were very informative.
We took a trip to Mount Sinai, where we trekked from midnight to the mountains and hills over 2600 feet. It was challenging as we've never done this before. We had a fantastic tour guide, Mohab Ahmged, and our driver, Ahmed Hamama, who drove safely throughout our road trip. We also had another tour guide who supported us with the climb, he was also very helpful. Overall, they were kind and friendly. The guide explained the journey process, booked a one-day hotel at St Catherine, and provided food and drinks. The history evolved as we asked questions about Egypt. He was very patient with us, encouraging and understanding.
We never dreamt of doing this adventure and thought it was fantastic. There were lots of us, which made it enjoyable. We rode the camels up to a certain point and then trekked 750 feet, which took us 3 hours. We never gave up despite the challenge. We made it just in time for the sunrise around 05:45. The most beautiful view we experienced was fulfilling. We prayed, cleansed ourselves and asked God our heart desires with a prayer request.
Afterwards, we trekked down until we reached the Monastery for a tour. It was eye-opening and educative.
What a wonderful, unforgettable experience. Thank you for making this day a memorable day.

Excellent guides - It is recommended for all those people who believe they have sufficient physical conditions, because it takes approximately 3 hours to climb. My recommendation is that if you are going to do it, ask that your guide be Mohamed, this guy is the best, he is the best guide I have ever met, as well as the driver, whose name I believe is Ahmed. I wish all the guides were like the two of them, it was worth it!

Unforgettable experience with Sun Pyramids Tours - We left Cairo early morning and loaded all of our luggage in a car. Even though the trip took about 5-6 hours, the car was comfortable and we had ample stops along the way. We passed by small towns, dry landscapes, numerous checkpoints but our guide Mohamed was very engaging and explained some history about the places we passed. Overall a safe trip going to St Catherine's. At St. Catherine's, we had lunch at a quaint restaurant and proceeded to rest in our hotel. Because we were still full, we decided to skip the dinner and just went to bed at 6 pm. After all, the plan was to get up at 11 pm to prepare for the climb. The car picked us up around 12 am and we proceeded to the based of Mount Sinai. It was cold but we had proper clothing. When we got to the location, we were flanked by local Bedouins selling items that we may potentially need during the climb and some offered camel rides in case we need extra help. We were briefed by our guide on things to do and not to do and we were joined by Moses and another Bedouin guide. As we began our ascent up the 7500 ft mountain, it became clear that we needed a flashlight, which I am glad our guide had prepared. It was pitch black so it's dangerous to climb without any lights. At the end of the first kilometer, we were exhausted and opted to hire some camels to conserve our energy for the last part of the climb. That was the best decision we made since it was fun riding the camels and we reached the next stop effortlessly. We reached the last part of the climb, the final 750 steps in an hour. As my wife and I climbed the 750 steps, we held on to our Bedouin guides. I notice the air getting thinner. We stopped by a yurt to rest for a couple hours and wait for the sunrise. We met many tourists from many countries in the yurt. After a couple of hours, we started climbing the last 100 steps and reached the summit of Mt Sinai just in time for the spectacular sunrise. The trip was totally worth it and I cannot thank our guides Moses and Mohamed enough for helping us during the climb and making the experience as comfortable as can be. We said prayers in the space where Moses apparently stayed while waiting for the 10 Commandments from God and then soaked ourselves with an amazing view of the sunrise. What an amazing and unforgettable experience!

Sun Pyramids Tours!! Love!! - I loved everything about the trip!!! Phenomenal!! I was picked up by Tamer Mosbah and Roman at the airport they handled everything from start to finish!! Very professional and gave me an experience of a lifetime! Tamer was very knowledgeable about the area, showed me everything Cairo had to offer! He did a great job in helping me pick out the best jewelry, ensured everything at each border went smoothly, took me to some of Egypt’s best restaurants, and planned dinner on the Nile. Tamer is very well traveled and even knew where each female was from anywhere around the world on the cruise just by looking at them lol Roman was the life of the party, best driver in the world, and was very down to earth! I will definitely be returning and using Sun Pyramid!

Catching sunrise on Mt Sinai - This was a great trip to St Catharine's with my guide Okasha. It's quite a long drive (about 6 hours) from Cairo but Okasha ensured that there were sufficient rest stops along the way! Once in St Catharine's there is very little by way of stores, so make sure to take a packed lunch or some snacks to sustain you until dinner time. The climb of Mt Sinai began at around 2am, with an amazing guide Hosni, who knows those mountains extremely well. Watching the sunrise from the summit is indescribable and is simply amazing! It is definitely an experience worth enjoying. Unfortunately the monastery was closed and so I wasn't able to take a tour but summitting Sinai was worth every minute. I would definitely recommend this tour.
