Our first treat is the Chocolo Arepa.

We will taste the Chocolo Arepa, which differs from the more common white Arepa you may have already tried.

The Chocolo Arepa is sweeter and has a unique flavor compared to the regular one, and it’s also harder to find in supermarkets.

Some guests find the Chocolo Arepa similar to a pancake; let’s see what you think when you try it.

Our second snack is a buñuelo: a fried dough ball.

This snack is popular in many countries, each with its own version.

Our Buñuelo is made with cheese, and its surface is typically crunchy, enjoyed throughout the year, especially during Christmas.

The place where we will try our Buñuelo is very traditional and makes the largest and most delicious ones.

Our next stop will be to sample Aguardiente, our traditional alcohol made from anise seeds.

Since colonial times, Aguardiente has been part of our traditions and celebrations.

Medellin’s own “Aguardiente Antioqueño” has won several awards for its quality and taste, so we are confident you will enjoy it.

To make this drinking experience even more exciting, you will try it in a place filled with traditional taverns in Medellin, where Aguardiente has been traditionally consumed: Fondas Paisas.

To accompany the Aguardiente, we will have our next snack: Empanada.

Empanadas are pastries filled with potatoes or rice and ground meat, usually fried.

We typically eat them with “salsa rosada” (pink sauce, a combination of mayonnaise and ketchup) or “ají,” a local spicy sauce. We’ll provide four different sauces to try.

Our final destination is one of the most enchanting places in this city.

It’s a coffee farm owned by the most gracious and kind farmers, where we will try authentic and mind-blowing homemade food.

• Sabaneta - At this farm, we won’t just try these delicious treats, but we will also sample a local specialty: Colombian beer mixed with a soda drink called “Colombiana.” What could be more local than that?

Locals call it Refajo, and it’s definitely worth trying as it is refreshing and not as bitter as regular beer.

But what kind of food tour would this be without trying a traditional dessert?

We are offering you a very special one, all grown on the farm, consisting of ripe plantain, guava, and melting cheese. This would be the perfect way to conclude this amazing night.
