Klias Wetlands - Pick up start at 1pm from all hotels around Kota Kinabalu city area until finish. Then proceed to Klias for 2hours/132km journey by van/minibus.

You will be serve buffet of local Malaysian cuisine for dinner before embark for the 2nd cruising along the river to watch the magical fireflies flickering through the night.
By 7.30pm, you will get on the bus/van for the journey back to Kota Kinabalu city for hotel drop off and mark of the end of the tour.

Great experience - Communication beforehand was great, pickup was on time. Our guide Sulani was very friendly. Transport to and from the Klias river was comfortable. And of course the cruises were awesome. The guides were great with finding and showing us wildlife, and the fireflies. Great afternoon and evening

Great tour - Great tour, we saw lots of wildlife, our guide Khaty was great and the food was delicious. It’s quite a long bumpy drive but this was clear before I booked, so just remember to bring something to do for the journey.

Make it absolutely necessary - Our guide was very entertaining and gave us a lot of information.
The tour through the mangroves was great, we saw 3 different species of monkeys, various birds, crocodiles and during the night drive afterwards also very many fireflies. Recommended!

Amazing experience in Kota Kinabalu - 天気も良く、無事テングザルとホタルを見ることが出来ました！ガイドの方は親切で、とてもわかりやすい解説でした。施設は綺麗で、ローカルフードも美味しかったです。(特に揚げバナナ)
行きと帰りは2時間近くかかります。素晴らしいスピードで運転がなされますが、道路事情が良くないので、酔い止めは飲んで行って正解でした！
Amazing good experience in Kota Kinabalu. Fortunately we have seen some groups of proboscis monkeys and fireflies under the good weather. Fireflies were like stars in night sky. With kind and trustful guides, we have learned ecosystems of them. Facilities were clean. local food supplied there were delicious and sufficient. Consequently it is absolutely recommended.

Magical experience!! - Wow wow wow!!! Absolutely fantastic experience. We saw so many animals on our trip down the river during the day and thousands of fireflies on our evening trip. The food served during the day was delicious and our tour guide was so knowledgeable. Definitely a bucket list activity.

Magical!!! - This a must when you are in Sabah! Monkeys, fireflies and four hornbills flying over us at the end of the cruise. Both boat rides are fun, you can see everything clearly even without binoculars (but you can easily rent it). Dinner was fine. Although it was a long ride by bus it was absolutely worth it!

Tour objectives achieved! - I struggled with a wide range of tour prices, but I chose one with a lot of mouths and one with a middle amount.
There was no doubt about the choice!
The purpose of the tour was to see wild animals, so my friend didn't understand English, but he thought of a cospa and signed up for this tour.
The tour Guides were gentle and pleasant, and our language was limited, but we were happy to discover them because they were easy to understand English, Tengu monkeys, which everyone wanted to see, were said in Japanese, and people around us responded when they found them.
There was a lot of rain on the night of July, but I was very happy to see fireflies.

Lovely river cruise and great guides - Had a lovely time on this river cruise. Klias River is beautiful. On the first cruise, we saw baby crocodiles, macaque monkeys, and proboscis monkeys. The tour guides (Jamil and James) were lovely and happily answered all our questions about the river biodiversity. They also stopped at multiple locations along the river to ensure everyone got to see things. The guides get the boat all the way to the shore, so getting good photos is purely dependent on the monkeys!! The dinner was tasty and plentiful. The second cruise to see the fireflies was also great. We got to see so many! For anyone wondering about the journey, I experienced great communication about pick up from my hotel (Marilyn is on WhatsApp). The journey was 2 hrs each way in a minibus/van with excellent aircon. Overall, I would recommend this one! Thanks Only in Borneo Tours!

Klias river Cruise - Well organized and everything promise you would see seen. Food ok, tour guide very helpful. The only downside is the time getting to the venue from Kota Kinabalu

not really worthwhile - a long journey from town to location, two river trips, Sightings very limited, food provided was less than adequate. personally
would not bother with this trip again.
