Tour will start by visiting
Mount Kigali for a fantastic view of the city, surrounding hillside and countryside. It is one of the highest points in Kigali city.
Kigali Museum and learn the history of city and country’s pre-colonial and colonial period as well as the colonial masters in Rwanda. Visit the
genocide memorial site, a grim reminder of a senseless massacre of innocent’s lives in 1994. Learn about Rwanda’s history from pre-colonial times to 1994 genocide and how Rwanda has dealt with that past. We continue with our tour and see the new developments in Rwanda; the recovery has been incredible, a testament to humankind’s resilience
Mille Collines Hotel (Hotel Rwanda) for lunch
Kigali city tour will include a stop at the historic ‘Hotel Rwanda’. Still a classy hotel to this day, the Mille Collines Hotel offers a delicious buffet lunch including African Food such as Amateke, Ibijumba etc.
Visit the
Kimoronko Giant Market, where you will have a chance to bargain as locals do and test to african food such fruits, drinks and also you will have chance to the hand art and craft market of CAPLAKI for souvenir shopping.

Day 2: transfer to Nyungwe National Park for Colombus trekking and Canopy Walk
Early morning at about 5.00 am depending on location of your Hotel, your driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to the Nyungwe National Park and after check in you will go for the briefing point at the Uwinka visitors center in Nyungwe forest before you can start your trekking. After receiving a briefing and depending on the number of people present for the chimp trek you will be divided into two groups. One will track starting at the
Uwinka center and another starting at
Cyamudongo – which will require your driver guide to transfer you to the starting point. You are allowed to stay with the chimps for only 1 hour after locating them, photography is allowed but be reminded that the flash is prohibited. After that Will do a Canopy walk which will rest 2 hours and then will take safari back at Kigali where you started your safari.
