- In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid drivers license is required.
- 2 adults share 1 snowmobile, single driving is available as supplement for adult.
- Children 1-13 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child’s safety.
- If a child over 140 cm…
- In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid drivers license is required.

- Children 1-13 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child’s safety.
- If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
- Children under 3 year old are not recommended to join this tour.
- The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a maximum personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour.
- Alcohol consumption is not allowed during the tour, and guests cannot participate if intoxicated.

A must do for any trip to Lapland - Beautiful setting. Fantastic guides- very attentive and great with kids especially on such a cold day.

Ice Fishing and Snowmobile in the Arctic - We had a great day out on the snowmobiles and ice fishing. The company provided heavy duty overalls which were perfect for the cold conditions.
The kids rode in a carriage behind the tour driver so that was good. Scenery on the snowmobile ride was stunning. Ice fishing was also something unique. Despite not catching any fish we had a great time.

The most magnificent day! - What an absolutely magnificent day!!! We booked the ice fishing and snowmobile combo, unfortunately it was affected by the weather as the lake was not frozen enough for us to take the snowmobile on but that didn’t stop us having the most amazing day!!!!
Our tour guide, Jack was an exceptional host for the day! He was welcoming, engaging and humorous! Particularly with our 8 year old son.
We drove out to the lake and were given instruction and assistance for our fishing. Jack was so attentive and spent time with our family to personalise our experience…. Our son was captivated by him and his knowledge and loved being shown how to handle his fish, meanwhile our 6 year old daughter was kept entertained with a shared love of Taylor Swift and warm fires!!!
We shared lunch by the fire, cooking our catches before heading to the forest for our snow mobile experience! It wasn’t the experience we anticipated - it was better!!! We had longer on the snowmobiles, we felt safe and had lots of fun! Our 6 year old daughter was so comfortable in the in the back of the sled that she fell asleep for a little while before waking up in the middle of the forest to the most beautiful scenery!!
This trip was the highlight of our time in Rovaniemi, made all the more memorable by our guide, Jack! We cannot thank him enough. We can’t wait to come back and do it all again!!!!!

Awesome day with our guide Raphael really enjoyed our day - Ha the best day Ice fishing and snowmobiling with our guide Raphael….. everything was explained clear and concise… As a family we really enjoyed our day… Ice fishing was good fun… And the snowmobiles were awesome and Raphael was great with the kids and was happy to stop for a few pics and explain things to us… All in all a very very good trip…

Fun, unique way to spend a day! - What a fantastic way to spend the day! We did this as a family of 4 (2 adults, children ages 12 and 9). We got 2 snowmobiles and did 1 adult and 1 child on each one (to ride on the back, though, the child must be able to reach their feet to the bottom rail as a safety precaution). We started right in Santa's Village and after gearing up in nice warm overalls and a talk about safety and how to drive the snowmobiles, we were off! We followed the guide through the forest (pretty views all around) for maybe 45 minutes to an hour until we reached a lake. Once at the lake, we hopped off the snowmobiles and drilled some holes in the ice to go fishing. The guide showed us how to do it and then let us try drilling the holes. Then he baited the poles and let us fish for awhile. We didn't expect to catch anything, but my son caught 1 fish, I caught 2, and my daughter caught 3! One was even big enough to eat and the guide cleaned it and we cooked it over a fire and ate it right out on the lake! We also grilled some sausages on the fire and drank some hot berry juice. After we were done fishing, we hopped back on the snowmobiles and drove back to Santa's Village. The snowmobiles were so much fun to ride around on! Everyone really had a great time! Would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Best things to do in Lapland - Fantastic ! We did the snowmobile and ice fishing tour with Sandra and it was really an amazing experience. We would for sure advise anyone to add snowmobile to their lapland to do list !! Not only is it a crazy, fun, memorable experience but it is also an incredible way to discover Finish nature.
Sandra is really the best guide we could ever imagine having. She is very professional, knowledgeable and has a lot of expertise. She is also very kind and helpful and wanted us to have the best experience possible and it was a success.

Good experience - Ice fishing and snowmobile was fun and great experience to have. The pick up and organisation from Artic Circle was quite chaotic but thanks to Guille our guide we had a great experience.

Cheap toy fishing rods - The guide was nice and friendly. We were allowed to go somewhat fast on the snowmobile. We didn't catch any fish. Kind of disappointed. They gave us cheap toy fishing rods made for toddlers.
Sausage was good.
