Upon returning to shore, you’ll be greeted by a cozy open fire and enjoy traditional Finnish campfire snacks. This is an excellent opportunity for the guide to demonstrate how to build and ignite a fire using flint and steel, without matches or a lighter. They will also share insights about Lapland, Arctic life, and the natural environment. Every moment of this tour is perfect for photography enthusiasts, so remember to bring your camera (but be cautious of the water).

Canoeing offers a serene and ideal way to explore Lapland during the summer, while preserving its pristine environment. Finland, famously known as the Land of a Thousand Lakes, boasts over 188,000 lakes. Many of these are situated in Lapland, providing stunning and harmonious landscapes alongside the fells and forests. These lakes and rivers are habitats for numerous birds and small mammals, including geese, swans, longspurs, cranes, and otters. With a bit of luck, many of these creatures can be easily spotted!
All activities are conducted in small groups, with a maximum of 8 participants. This approach ensures the best possible experience, steering clear of mass tourism.
