Relish the sight of Lapland’s Northern Lights as you float in the icy waters, comfortably warm in your survival suit, regardless of the outside temperature. While there are numerous ways to view the Northern Lights, this method is the most unique and relaxing.

Super fun ice floating experience! - Carlos, Madea, and David were phenomenal! They were so knowledgeable and friendly. The ice floating was an awesome experience. Even though we did not see the northern lights because it was cloudy, it was still so worth it. The experience of floating on the lake was amazing and it was so fun to eat gingerbread and have a hot drink with our guides. Highly recommend, it was easily the best experience of Finland!

Nice experience with Super Guide. Thank you Miki. - the Ice Floating was a great experience, even without the Northern Lights. The starry sky alone was worth it. Thanks to Miki for the Top Orga and the tips for our further Finland trip.

Great experience - This was a really cool activity to do, I do wish there were some things we know before we signed up. We were staying at Vaattunki resort which is a little out of town. Our meet time was 6:15. We drove to city office of Safartika (stopping at Santa village for a pickup) and then had to wait about 30 mins for a bus to arrive to take us and the other 27 people booked on the trip. Apparently this trip is sold out every day. We left office at 7:30 for our 30 min ride to the lake. We were then split into two groups. We were in the first group who changed and floated. Getting in and out of the lake is a little precarious as there is only 1 guide suited for the float. We had about 6 children in our group and it is quite a scary feeling getting in the cold dark water. One of the kids panicked and started splashing and kicking around. As you cannot really move your head left to right without really lifting your head, I imagine the parent of this child would have also panicked. We floated for about 30 mins and at that point I would’ve been happy to leave, however we had to then wait in the tepee for the next group to go through the whole experience. We finally got back after dropping many off along the way at 11:30pm. This is a good experience but could be streamlined by Safartika. Northern lights were visible through iPhone this night but you couldn’t really be able to see from the water as it’s too hard to keep your head up. It’s also hard to get photos. One woman in our group gave the camera to the guide and we airdropped after the event.

Highlight of our trip! - A MUST DO! and our guide was fun and provided an exceptional experience! The lights on this particular night were AMAZING and our guide extended the tour so we didnt miss a moment!

ICE FLOATING WITH THE BEST GUIDE - THE BEST GUIDE - IRENA😍 lovely woman with amazing knowledge! She took us for Ice Floating, she showed us everything and made our dreams come true! It was so special to spend time with her and we will never forget it. Her involvement and and character was so charming, she was so open to our questions (we had A LOT)🤪 We really loved her and that trip!

Great experience - It was a great experience. Giselle was a super Guiede. She took good care of us and also took great photos/videos. We were lucky and could even see the Northern Lights after we got out of the water.

Unique experience - We were glad that we did this experience. We had a really clear night and saw millions of stars but it was a bit early for aurora (we did see it later that evening!) The suits were fine - didn’t smell and didn’t leak. The organisation could have been better. Pick up time changed 3 times and we were even asked to make our own way into Rovaniemi centre at one point, even though we’d paid for pick up included. The guide didn’t speak to us at all so we had no idea where we were heading or what to expect when we got there. Transfer time took over an hour even though the lake was 20 minutes from where we were staying as we were picked up first and driven back into town. Overall it was good to have done it but I’d perhaps look for a different company.

No trip, no refund - The tour was canceled an hour before it was supposed to start. After requesting a refund I still haven't received a refund. It's been over a month now.

LITTLE TRANSPARENCY AND UNCLARITY ON EXCURSIONS .. DO NOT DO NORTHERN LIGHTS BECAUSE THERE IS NO - Bad experience.
We called before leaving the number on google to book a package of excursions asking to speak with someone who spoke Italian. They called us back from a girl named FEDERICA who told us to contact her through EVANEOS to get the quote. Once we paid everything and arrived at the agency, we realize that we had paid almost double. When asked for explanations we were answered by federica that she had never told us to use Evaneos (portal that we did not even know before talking to her) and that those were operating and agency costs. Or 700€. Nothing of the sort was mentioned in the quote. The result is lost money and being taken for fools. 0 PROFESSIONALISM AND ZERO SUPPORT. DO NOT TRUST.
I repeat we contacted the agency directly from Italy and the agency itself had Federica call us back who told me to contact her on EVANEOS. Not knowing anything of course we trusted, but it was a bad choice.
In the google review the agency tells me that we should have booked with them and not online; I wonder but online or by phone are not the same thing? Unprofessional and not even an EXCUSE or try to make up for it maybe giving us the difference.
