- This tour requires average physical activity, you have to be able to climb stairs and move in the water.
- This tour includes a pickup & drop off from listed hotels. The time for meeting point and place will be confirmed upon the reservation by email and/or text message. Please note that our tours and transfers follow a fixed schedule and therefore we advise being at the designated meeting point 5 minutes before the meeting time. Failing to be at the pick-up point at the given time may result in missing the transfer. Refunds will not be issued for the missed activity or any inconvenience caused as a result.

Magical experience! - What an amazing experience we had! Alex was our guide who guided us through the floating experience. He was with us throughout the process. We were picked up from our hotel and then welcomed by his beautiful wife who too helped us get into the floating suit and walk us till the lake. We were briefed in detail, covered all the safety aspect and then was ready to float. You could float on the lake till your heart desire, absolutely no rush. Breathtaking place, so serene, Snowy landscape, just felt magical! They helped us take lots of pictures. Later after the float we were treated with some hot Finnish Glogi juice with cinnamon cookies. It was a small group so we had lots of fun with personal attention to all. I would recommend this to all if you are looking for some quite and magical experience to experience nature in a different way.

Brilliant Experience! - This was such a fun experience - one of our favourite activities during our whole trip! We were picked up exactly on time from Rovaniemi, and the minibus took us to the delightful cabin next to the beautiful frozen lake. We were given lots of opportunities to take photos, and getting into the survival suits was a hilarious experience. Brandon was a fantastic guide, very informative, helpful, fun and friendly - we warmed to him immediately, and felt very comfortable exchanging some banter. The ice float itself was brilliant, only a certain amount of people are in the group at a time so it wasn't too crowded in the water, and being able to just float on your back like an otter was simultaneously relaxing and so hilarious. It felt completely safe, and as long as you've worn warm clothes, you don't feel the cold much at all. Afterwards, we were given cookies and hot juice to warm up in the cabin, and the vibes were cosy and chill. 100% would recommend this activity if you're in Rovaniemi!

Unforgettable experience - Fantastic experience. Our guide Mattia was a pleasant discovery. He gave us all the precise instructions to enter and float in the frozen lake. I recommend this unforgettable experience to everyone.

Thrilling experience - My ice lake floating adventure with Jaco was exhilarating!
Safety thermal suits in place, Jaco guided us through a fun and secure ice breaking experience.
Unlike the Icebreaker Cruise Tour, this activity focused solely on ice floating, saving time and money without the need for a cruise or certificate. Highly recommended for an unforgettable adventure on the ice!

So much fun! Great way to... - So much fun! Great way to experience a cold plunge without the cold part. You wear a dry suit and stay warm and dry the entire time. Guides are very helpful and get you in and out of the suit and take photos while in the water. Warm drinks and cookies afterward!

Ice floating in winter - Had a great time - a really unique experience. Suits kept you warm and floating around was very relaxing. It would've been great if guides could've taken photos and put them online for everyone to share.

Mixed feelings about this - I have some mixed reviews about this tour. Our guide, Jaco, was a bit blunt and did not speak much to us about the place and the area, apart from instructions on when going in and out of the water. It was like he was in a bad mood. Apart from that, the ice floating was a unique experience however it gets a bit monotonous after a while. I could be a bit biased on this as I had done the finnish sauna and lake dip the day before. I would also suggest maybe the tour company gets the guides their own camera and takes photos of people, even when they are in the water, not just when going into the lake, and then share them with the group after the tour via email.
