At the office, you’ll be provided with top-quality winter attire to ensure warmth throughout your adventure. This includes boots, insulated jackets and pants, and gloves. Feel free to wear your own layers underneath for added comfort.

• Rovaniemi - Scenic Transfer to the Husky Farm

Relax and enjoy the stunning Arctic scenery as we drive to the husky farm situated outside Rovaniemi. Your guide will offer insights into local life, huskies, and what to expect upon arrival.

• Rovaniemi - Husky Safari & Warm Break in a Traditional Kota

Upon arrival, the group is divided into two:

One half starts with a brief sled-driving lesson before embarking on the husky safari (10 km / ~25–35 min). Each sled accommodates 2 adults and 1–2 small children, with the option to switch drivers halfway.

The other half enters a cozy kota (traditional Lappish hut) for warm drinks, biscuits, and an introduction to husky life from our knowledgeable local guides.

After the first round, the groups switch.

• Rovaniemi - Meet the Huskies & Photo Time

Following the rides, everyone has the opportunity to meet, pet, and take photos with the friendly huskies. This is an ideal time to bond with the dogs and capture memories.

• Rovaniemi - Transfer Back to Rovaniemi

Enjoy a relaxing return transfer to Rovaniemi.

What distinguishes our 10 km Husky Safari is its ideal blend of interactive adventure and authentic Arctic hospitality. Participants will steer their own sled through untouched forests on a 10 km circuit—switching drivers halfway—while our intimate group size (only six sleds) ensures the guide can provide genuine insights into dog care, breeding, and local culture. After the journey, guests can warm up in a traditional kota with hot drinks and snacks, engaging with the handlers and the huskies themselves. All transfers, thermal clothing, and refreshments are included, allowing participants to fully enjoy the excitement, the dogs, and the stories they’ll share long after returning to Rovaniemi.
