Additional Information

Embark on a day tour that takes you through the Netherlands’ most historical landmarks and picturesque locations, including The Hague, Delft, and Rotterdam. You’ll uncover intriguing tales about Dutch history throughout this grand adventure.

Our voyage begins with a visit to Rotterdam, home to the largest seaport in Europe. It’s a city renowned for its seafaring legacy and distinct contemporary architecture. Its diverse architectural scene is a result of the near-total obliteration of its city center during World War II.

We journey next to Delft, recognized for its signature blue pottery. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to relax and enjoy lunch at the bustling market square.

In the afternoon, our destination is The Hague, the political nucleus of the Netherlands. This city serves as both the administrative and royal capital of the Netherlands, making it a hub for the country’s governing bodies.

The tour includes complimentary hotel pick-up in Amsterdam, luxury travel in a comfortable mini bus (Mercedes brand) that accommodates up to 8 people, and a complimentary bottle of water for each traveler.

Very good day trip to wonderful places! - Excellent tour to three very nice places. Enjoyed seeing all of them, and Madurodam too! Loved the hotel pick-up, and Pete was an informative guide. My only constructive comment would be that it would be nice to have people rotate seats in the van so that the same people are not always stuck in the back row with limited visibility for pictures, and for the guide to be careful in their comments about those from other countries, etc. Several negative comments were made about those from Germany and my Dad and his family emigrated to the US from there. It was not nice!

Great tour but too long - Pete was a great guide! Good driver too. He was very informative and funny too! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour but in our opinion, you could leave The Hague off. The tour was too long. We were exhausted. Could have spent much more time in Delft. Our favorite! Rotterdam we enjoyed too

Overall a good trip - Our guide Reinier was very entertaining and also very knowledgeable. He never let us be bored for a minute. He was also extremely polite, courteous, helpful and friendly. The only reason I did not give the trip five stars was because the vehicle that was used ( a Mercedes Benz van) was very uncomfortable and stuffy. It had two bench seats in the middle and back….the middle seat had to be folded down for the passengers in the last row to climb in and out of the vehicle. The tour company needs to use modern and upgraded vehicles with better seating options.

Sampling Holland’s cities - It was a good trip but we spent far too much time standing in front of different buildings and talking. Free time in Delft was short. Pete certainly did a good job in all aspects. Overall very satisfying trip.

Not Worthy the time and money. Do not book it. - Let me start saying that I was strongly thinking to put 1 star, but since our guide, KAI, did his best effort to be informative and entertaining during the tour, I put 2 stars. Nothing against KAI. The 2 stars is not intended to rate the tour guide but the tour itself, the transportation and the communication with the tour operator. KAI picked up the 7 people included in our party at our hotel at the agreed time. Everything was ok with the transportation until KAI told us that he needed to pick up somebody else at a nearby hotel. The mini van was already packed when he said that an extra person was coming...the only seat available was, in the front, between the driver and the co-pilot. We were puzzled as we did not know how an extra person was going to fit in that mini van. When the other customer came onboard and took the only available seat, the driver (tour guide), the newcomer and my husband complained that they felt cramped. Therefore, I had to move to the 3rd row of seats with my 2 daughters and my cousin to open up a seat in the 2nd row and leave the seat next to the driver empty. The 3rd row is only for 3 people....we were now 4 there. We couldn't use the seat belts. We felt cramped and very uncomfortable for a 10 hour tour. My 2 daughters are skinny kids and the rest of my family is regular size. The tour is advertised for 8 people, but there is no way on Earth that the van can fit 8 regular size adults. I inmediately complained to the tour guide boss to his phone number. The boss never answered back. Apparently, he did not care at all. After a 10 hour tour and riding in the aforementioned conditions, my 2 daughters, my cousin and myself were having cramps in our entire bodies. Needless to say, we did not have seat belts on, so it was very unsafe to travel in the road. In addition, we felt that the tour was boring and not worthy the amount of time and money paid. Yes, we visited some historical sites and places but nothing to take your breath away. Executive Summary: DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR and invest your time and money in something else.

You are at risk of cancellation - These guys cancelled the tour a day before I was supposed to take it because min heads needed weren’t there. For international passengers coming in - this is a bad start. We had to switch to a different tour.

Beware the small group tours - Impossible to review as the day before the scheduled tour we were cancelled due to not enough people signed up. Heck, it’s a small group, how large do they want the group to be before holding the tour. Now we are scrambling to fill a hole in our holiday schedule…
