Interesting and recommended - Our guide Tania was very competent and personable. She told us the history of Rotterdam, many interesting anecdotes and showed and explained architectural highlights. Highly recommended.

Wondeful tour - Excellent guide! Appreciated her flexibility with a time change, and she was very educated on all the places she showed us. The tour was informative and entertaining and she answered so many of our questions. Great photo opportunities and a beautiful city.

Wonderful walking your in amazing Rotterdam! - Our walking tour was simply amazing! Our tour guide, Tanya, was very knowledgeable, freely sharing her experiences and wast educational knowledge to make this tour the highlight of our time in Netherlands . To have an architect leading the small group in Rotterdam, the architectural wonder of Europe and the world, is a fantastic idea and now, I believe, is the only way to visit Rotterdam! This is how you want to discover all the famous and hidden architectural details you would miss otherwise. Thank you, Tanya, for our amazing introduction to Rotterdam!

Great tour! - Very interesting tour - we weren’t sure what to expect but we were very pleasantly surprised with the interesting buildings and history provided with the reconstruction post WWII - very enjoyable!

A great overview of Rotterdam's diverse architecture - We had a fabulous time with Sylvia and learned a lot on this very interesting walking tour. It was the perfect introduction to Rotterdam at the beginning of our 5-day stay. The 3 hours went by quickly, topped off by a brief but exciting water taxi ride across the harbor. We are both in our 60s and didn't have any issues with walking or resting, since the city is pretty flat and the pace was comfortable. Sylvia was very kind and patient as she shared her inside knowledge of the city.

Our guide had trained as... - Our guide had trained as an architect and clearly knew her stuff. She provided good historic and contemporary context for what we were seeing. We did this as a day trip from Amsterdam and it was well worth it.

A tour to inspire love in for Rotterdam - Loved this tour, the guide was great and clearly has a love for Rotterdam as well as for architecture. I’m not very knowledgeable about the subject but her passion was clear. I found this to be a great way to learn about the history of the city and am looking forward to coming again with different visitors. We were late due to a train mistake on my part and the guide couldn’t have been more helpful to us catching up and forgiving of my error. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing - We where very lucky as we where the only 2 that booked this tour so had a private tour which we where able to ask as many questions as we wanted and had. Our tour guide was brilliant and could answer all our questions with her Architectural knowledge

Good Intro to the city of Rotterdam - Overall, we had a pleasant walking tour with our guide, Sylvia. I wouldn't call this a strictly architecture tour, as there was quite a bit said about social activism and the quasi-socialist function of the different structures along the route. As an architect, I would have appreciated more focus on the constructability and actual design aspects of the various buildings. I also wished the tour included a visit, even if brief, to the cube houses shown in the tour photos. Instead, we passed by them at a distance rather than actually walking through them. Aside from those minor points of constructive criticism, Sylvia did a good job. Be prepared for a walk; I believe we walked close to 12,000 steps on this tour alone.
