Mixed feelings as cost was so high! - The driver and guide was a nice and friendly guy, but not sure he was aware of the tour we signed up for as we did not go to Kinderdijk nor was the tour "customized to our interest" - we did book the day before, but no one really asked us what we wanted to do - so I left it to the guide to follow the tour we purchased. Considering i paid over 800 euros for 2 people, it was a big disappointment in terms of value for money. We did do a boat tour in Rotterdam, but we paid extra for this. Also, of course there is traffic on the roads, but this seemed to be a factor in our tour-time and there was a feeling of rushing to avoid traffic. Not really a feeling we got our full 8 hours and no, sitting in traffic does not count as the tour. Again, hard to complain about the driver/guide as he tried being friendly, but the lack of preparation for something so expensive is hard to excuse. I really would have asked for some money back here as it was a not a good impression. I have booked private tours that include more people for far less money in NL and we went to more places, so again, big let down. I would recommend really stating clearly what you expect if you book this tour. I booked because of the raving 1 review, but I dont think they always send the same tour guide.
