Great day out - We really enjoyed our visit to the living Maori village which included a guided tour and a cultural performance. It was a great day out and we learned alot about the thermal areas and how they've been used for centuries.

Amazing experience! - Sheng and Manawa looked after us and were both helpful and friendly! We loved our Mauri village tour so much. It was one of the favourite parts of our trip! It was great to learn about Mauri culture and try some of their food.

Love this village tour - Absolutely amazing tour Tour guide was very informative and passionate about her culture, ancestors and land. As new zealanders knowing basic things about the culture it was worth the visit to learn a bit more. There were gift shops throughout the village, and you could also see the pohutu geyser at neighbouring te puia! The locals were awesome and welcoming The kids dive for coins from the bridge and were happy to show you how easy it was for them!

Definitely more than worth it - The guide was very knowledgeable and shared so much history and culture with our tour group. Our group was very respectful and quiet. We enjoyed sweet corn cooked in the spring. We enjoyed the mud flats and thermal area after. What a unique area.
