Fully relaxing time - Had a fully nice, relaxing and quiet time there. Hosts are very cute and the cold drinks are amazingly good. You need cold drinks inside the tubs 🤣😎😎

Awesome experience - Great place to go to unwind. Private and quiet (depending on when you go) and great view of nature. The staff are very friendly and informative. Definitely must try out the cold plunge before you go 😆

A Hidden Gem of Relaxation! - I had an absolutely amazing experience at Secret Spot Hot Tubs! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were super friendly and made everything so easy and relaxing. The hot tubs are beautifully nestled in nature, offering a peaceful and private escape — perfect for unwinding. The water was crystal clear and the setting serene, with lush greenery all around. I especially loved the option to enjoy a cold drink right from the tub — such a unique touch! Everything was clean, well-maintained, and clearly thoughtfully designed. You can tell the team really cares about creating a memorable experience for every guest. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Rotorua — this is a must-do! Thanks again to Keith, Eric, and the whole Secret Spot team for a fantastic time!

Relaxing haven - Idyllic setting, attentive and friendly staff. Even a drizzle of rain couldn't take away from the calmness and relaxation of my soak. Totally recommend a visit to this peace of paradise.

Wonderful experience, 10/10 recommend - We had an amazing experience at the hot tubs. We booked the 45 minute hot tub for 2 people and we are already planning the next one. The water, both in the hot tub and the cold plunge tubs, was incredible and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend for a nice getaway.

The best of Rotorua! - Awesome experience. We can highly recommend The Secret Spot to relax beneath the forest canopy. Just the best experience. We're not cyclists, but I can imagine that this would really take the kinks out of tired muscles, soaking in hot water while enjoying a beer or a glass of wine.

Good soak and experiance, average service - I went to Secret Spot for my birthday with a group of friends in the weekend. This is about my 8th visit and usually rate it great. However, I’m giving three stars this time due to some issues with group bookings. On two separate occasions, I booked for four people, but not everyone could soak—once due to an injury, and another time because someone was unwell (which isn’t Secret Spot’s fault). Last year, I used a voucher for four, but two of us couldn’t make it after a mountain biking accident. I was told that because it was a voucher, no refund or credit could be given, which I accepted. This time, I booked for 4 via the website about 18 hours ahead. When we arrived, one person in our group wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t join. The staff member at the desk initially said that the refund for the absent person would go back on my card, and I suggested using some of that credit towards drinks. She agreed, and we used $21 of the credit for drinks. However, at the end of our visit, another staff member informed us that they don’t actually give credits and was surprised we’d been allowed to use the drinks credit at all. Overall, I’m disappointed by the inconsistency and lack of flexibility in customer service. Given that the marginal cost for one less person is minimal and the price per person doesn’t decrease with group size, I think a credit or more accommodating approach would be fair. My suggestion, if you’re booking for a group, consider booking for one person and paying for additional guests on arrival. That way, you avoid any issues if someone can’t make it.
