The Glow Worm Adventure Kayak tour kicks off with a warm welcome and pick-up from the Rotorua Information Centre. Participants will stop at the base to get equipped before heading to the lake where the kayaks are ready for the adventure!

As twilight descends, paddlers will witness the lake mirroring the vibrant hues of dusk, setting a stunning scene for the excursion. The first destination is a secluded lakeside beach, accessible only by watercraft, where guests can step ashore to savor kiwi snacks and hot tea while enjoying the tranquility of the night.

Returning to the water, the journey continues towards hidden glow worm caverns that illuminate after dark. Thousands of tiny lights adorn the walls like a starry sky, allowing time to drift beneath their twinkling glow for a memorable, intimate experience. On a clear night, the enchantment extends beyond the caves as the Milky Way sparkles above, guiding the peaceful paddle back across the lake.
