This tour starts at the Hua Lamphong Subway Station. An email will be sent with meeting location details and directions immediately after booking.
- Talat Noi - This traditional area of Bangkok is made up of a maze of alleys that can only be explored by foot. We’ll walk through this hip neighborhood, dotted with street art and centuries-old temples, and find our way to a stunning riverside oasis with craft beer, pagoda views, and sunset vibes.
- Mahanak Market - Stroll through one of Bangkok’s oldest markets for an authentic glimpse into local street food culture. Discover popular central and southern Thai dishes like fried plantains, handmade lemongrass sausage, seasonal fruits, and more! Then visit a beloved auntie for her charcoal grilled satay skewers marinated in coconut milk, turmeric, and aromatic spices, then dipped in her homemade peanut sauce.
- Phra Nakhon - Isan cuisine is celebrated for its robust flavors combining spicy, sour, and umami. At this long-standing restaurant, we’ll try minced pork with aromatic herbs (Laab), fresh papaya salad (Som Tum), fragrant sticky rice, and meatballs fried with lime leaves for a perfect blend of these traditional flavors.
- Khaosan Road - For nearly a half-century, this hole in the wall has been serving Persian-influenced recipes that have been passed down for generations. Their hand-tossed roti flatbreads are filled with either sweet or salty ingredients…and we’ll try both! This final stop is located near Khaosan Road; your guide will help you get a taxi back to your hotel after the tour.

Bangkok is the perfect city of contrasts. Street food stalls outside Michelin restaurants, stilted homes alongside flashy high rises, and a melting pot of culinary influences that have evolved through the ages. Yet most people come to Thailand and eat the same thing they get at home: Pad Thai and Green Curry. But there’s so much more to offer.
