Beautiful emotion. - Wonderful visit, organized very well despite the mass of visitors. These were three magnificent hours undoubtedly characterized by the charm of the Vatican Museums and the harmonious and suggestive explanation of our talented guide Barbara, who alternated details and important historical information dictated the timing to make the visit unforgettable.

Worth hours of walk - The Vatican museums have items from ancient cultures, such as Egyptian mummies, Greek, Roman, Babylonian works. It is a compilation of culture and art from all over the world. Looking at the ceilings of some corridors is something untold. The peak is to get to the Sistine Chapel. Prepare to walk a lot. You still have access to the gardens of the Vatican, but this part I did not go because the family was exhausted.

Ya Ya the guide was wonderful! - Ilaria ("Ya Ya") was a fantastic guide, super knowledgeable and personable. Her accent was very thick, though, as she put a "ah" at the end of every word ending in a consonant: important-a; period-a; toilet-a. This seems like a small thing but it was hard to hear through a headset and try to get the gist of it. Still giving a 5 star review anyway!

Vatican museum and St. Peter’s Basilica must do tour - We took this tour with Brastours. The office was easy to find and there were two restaurants next door that provided the opportunity to get coffee and breakfast without worry of being late for the tour. Our guide Yaya was so informative, with her past hands on experience with some of the pieces throughout the museum, as an art professional. One of the best parts of this tour as well was the ability to skip the extremely long ticket line for the St. Peter’s Basilica. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Rome.

Worth it, but a little rushed - It was good! Best part was skipping the lines. It was a little rushed for my taste, especially since we finished an hour early(!). Part of this was probably because we skipped more lines than usual (tunnel between chapel & museum was open), but 33% quicker than advertised made me think we could’ve seen and heard more about what we were seeing. I would still recommend.

Vatican Museum and St. Peter's Tour Jan 2025 - I have mixed feelings about this particular tour. I've visited the Vatican over 10 years ago, and this time in Rome, wanted to see it again, but with a formal tour. My experience is probably quite similar to certain individuals who visit Rome (and I will be purposely vague and allow you the reader to fill in the blanks to what I mean), that often times your encounters to people in the service industry can be a very varied experience. First thing, when you enter and inquire about check in -- not really greeted with a warm welcome that others receive (despite greeting in Italian, as my Italian is beginner to intermediate), when asking questions you seem to be more of a nuisance rather than a paying customer. This definitely sets the tone of the tour for the rest of the day. Pros they do a good job of dividing large groups to 10-12 or maybe up to 15 people. My tour guide Viviana was very kind and informative and was very careful to answer all questions , keep the group together, and ensure we were able to get as much out of the out as possible. I feel in good faith, for certain travelers, I wouldn't recommend this company. Unfortunately, because of likely preconceived ideas, when traveling to countries like this, I often pay more for private or luxury experiences just to avoid any weirdness --and to ensure that you are at the minimum treated as every other paying customer.
