Great tour through the Vatican with Polina - Great organisation and great tour! Our appointment was at 12pm. Everything went punctual. Our guide was Polina - she did an amazing job!! Very sympathetic, smart and sharp, we felt that all the informations she gave us were exactly those you'd be interested in. Nothing was too much or too less. She was attentive and cared for the group.

Excellent tour - Marta was a great guide. We saw it all and went thru during a time it was crowded. 3 hr walking tour of Vatican city and the basilica.

Great tour, amazing guide, definitely would do it again! - The tour was amazing. They were very organized and professional. Marta, our tour guide was great, she shared so much information without being dull, thus offering us an unforgettable experience! I absolutely recommend!

Saved by the TOUR GUIDE; not a fan of the company... - We arrived at the meeting office which was nice, clean, and accessible. The people working there were not friendly, and the first thing we were told was that the tour would be leaving 25 minutes late (it ended up being more like 35). We were told to follow a person who never introduced himself (was he our guide?) through the crowded streets of Rome to our starting point. He did not carry a flag or other way to see him in the crowd, so we were relegated to follow others we recognized from the group (about 15 people) and hoping for the best. LUCKILY, when we arrived at the entrance, we were met by a lovely guide, who introduced herself, handed out listening devices with earpieces, and carried a flag (though it looked pretty worse for wear-a tattered, plain black piece of fabric with no markings...). Thank goodness, from that point on, the tour was excellent. She did a beautiful job of explaining the history of what we were seeing, pointing out relevant details, etc. I would have no qualms about recommending the TOUR GUIDE, but unfortunately can't say the same for the company for which she works...That said, touring Vatican City/Sistine Chapel/The Basilica is an absolute must on any visit to Rome. Don't miss it.

Sistine Tour - We checked in at 11:50 for 12:30 tour. Was given red stickers. Waited.
At 12:25 we were told it was canceled. We had to wait additional 3 hrs for the next tour at 3pm. Messed up our whole day.
Packed with people couldn't move. Otherwise, beautiful and loved the history.

Could have been so much better - Your guide would not speak into the mic. She had it pinned to her shirt. So we could hardly hear her with fabric rubbing and wind noise. With her very thick accent midst of the tour was unintelligible.

Tour company over booked every time slot - We were booked on for the Vatican City tour at 12:30 p.m. The evening before, they contacted me trying to change the time to 3 p.m. However, this clashed with our Colosseum tour.
They offered for me to come in at 11am to see if anyone dropped out of earlier tours. after and hour and a half, we decided to leave and come back at 3pm. We ended up missing our Colosseum tour because of this. No apology or compensation was offered, there was several people for every time slot in the same situation.
The tour was amazing, worth going just not with this company. (once upon a time tours)

Bad Experience w Once Upon A Time Tour Agency - Do NOT book a tour using this agency. Our guide was the WORST. Provided 2out of 3 hours for poorly led tour. TERRIBLE exp. St Peter’s was closed which I know can happen. Instead of a discount, they hold us we would gain access to Raphael Rooms that are normally closed. We asked and witnessed that they are part of the normal path to the Sistine Chapel and cannot be closed. We are trying to get some money back but no luck yet. This was the worst tour experience we had on a 2 week trip. Stick w trusted apps like Viator or Get Your Guide. They do a better job vetting their agencies. This was a waste of $300. Learned nothing. Lied too.
