Gigi was amazing 👏 - Oh my gosh, we are at the start of our vacation and Gigi has set the bar for every future tour guide to reach. He was so knowledgeable, witty and just a pleasure to walk through the Vatican museum with. We never felt rushed and he answered our questions so well. Our tour group was small, maybe 10 people and that really made for a great experience. I highly recommend taking this, we really loved it.

Great guide, for the massive Vatican - Our tour guide, Jeb, was excellent. He is an artist by trade and a part-time tour guide, and that skull brought excellent insight into the tour. He also made the Vatican museums manageable, which would have overwhelmed us otherwise. After the tour, he gave us advice on what else to see in St. Peter's Basilica and how to get tickets to get to the top of Michelangelo’s dome.

Vatican Museums with our “Renaissance Man”, Sev! - Explored Vatican Museum with our guide Sev in a small group of about 15 people. Sev knew SO much about all we saw and presented it in an engaging and interesting way. We wished we had a transcript of Sev’s tour so we could go back and read all about what he showed us. Lots of walking in July heat with AC only in Sistine Chapel. Nevertheless - such a wonderful experience.

A necessary piece to understanding the art and religion here. - We had an amazing tour with an incredible guide! Julia knew the “ins and outs” of the buildings, how to avoid the crowd and yet see the most magnificent pieces. Her knowledge of historical events and their significance to when pieces were created explained so much. Highly recommend! Traveling Iowans

Unforgettable - the best thing we did in Rome - Spectacular morning at the Vatican with Julia our guide. We opted for an early start with the 7.15am tour and it was so worth getting up early to avoid the worst of the heat and crowds. Julia said she doesn’t like doing later tours now because everyone is packed in like sardines. The admin process was swift and efficient with little to no queueing. We toured the inside of the Vatican Museums which Julia really brought to life with her stories of the artists and sculptors and their rivalries and the Popes and their ambitions and projects. The Sistine Chapel, although still relatively busy when it first opens, was simply stunning and Julia’s pre-briefing about the artworks really helped us appreciate everything and know what to look out for. Words simply can’t prepare you for the wonders of St Peter’s Basilica! As Catholics we found it very moving and spiritual, especially as we were able to walk through the holy door as it’s a centenary year. The tour finishes inside the Basilica so you have time to wander around on your own if you like. Be prepared for the temperatures - the museums tend not to be air conditioned, and go early would be the best advice. Take a scarf or cover shoulders for ladies for entrance to St Peter’s. There are lots of steps and walking so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or young children with strollers. The cafe the tour met at at the beginning sells amazing, strong coffee - so get there in plenty of time to grab one and a pastry before it starts. You will burn it off!!! The best thing we did in Rome!

Tour Guide was a True Professional!! - This tour was amazing! Very professional, very organized, and extremely informative!! Our tour guide was the best I’ve ever had- I think her name was Stephanie or Stefania. She was so engaging and fun to do the tour with. Her enthusiasm was contagious. Definitely one of the best tours I’ve ever been on! I will also add that there was a handicapped person on our tour, and she was extremely patient and kind with her as well!

Don’t see the Vatican Museum without a tour guide! - Excellent tour that showed us the highlights of the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica. It was absolutely worth getting up early to avoid some of the crowds. Very glad we did a tour here as it would have been overwhelming to try to see it on our own. Our tour guide was lovely, engaging, and easy to understand. The listening device and earbud combo worked great. Would highly recommend. 10/10
