Watch safety concerns not addressed - Good way to spend a day out of Rome and see Amalfi. It was a whole day experience. Beautiful towns and liked Sorrento the most. It was a super hot day. Stops were reasonable as timing would have been difficult to fit everything in. I had one SAFETY concern. On approaching the town of Positano, as roads are very narrow we were decanted into a few smaller shuttle buses. The one I joined with my adult son. Third row from the front (left side): the back of the seat was not up and broken, which means it was not safe as it put both my son and the person behind him in a dangerous situation. I told him to get out of that seat and take mine whilst I took the last seat at the back. One young lady came into the bus and went into the broken chair. The shuttle was already on the move. The guide Sami shouted out to sit down. “ you have to sit down” well I protested and said no it wasn’t safe. He did not pay any attention to our welfare and simply brushed it off saying the driver said he reported it to his boss several months ago and it is still broken. “this is Italy! That’s how they do things’ he meant slowly?!! I wasn’t impressed by the lack of care. Should we have an accident I guess they would not take liability for the damage injury or worse. I found that pretty disturbing. He never even mention that seat again even after the ride. He simply ignored an important part of the tour which was safety. For that reason, I’d say it was not a five star experience. The information provided on the visits were basic and not of good historical or cultural depth. Something you would regurgitate from a brochure. So the scenery was amazing, the timing was great, for that I’m grateful. That safety issue was not handled at all! And I bet that broken seat will likely be there for some time.

We made the trip in a... - We made the trip on a high season Saturday, so we took a lot of traffic and crowded stops, despite this the itinerary was modified and we returned later, keeping 1:30 in each city. However, 1:30 is very little, you have to eat fast and can take few photos. the limoncello experience on the way is only a small tasting of about 3ml of the liquor.

Overpriced and rushed - Stopped 3 times (twice at the same place?) to sell us products. The tour of Pompeii was rushed and we only got to see 2 of the human casts in the exit area, non in the ruins. We were asked to buy pizza at “special” rate €18 inc soft drink and pastry. The pizza was cold and average, the cake stale. Very expensive tour for what we got. Disappointing end to a great Italian trip.
