Need better audio, but useful. - It is a phenomenal way to get an overview of the layout and history of Rome. The breathtaking part of the bus ride is circling the Flavian Ampitheater, zipping past the Monument of Vittoro Emmanuel I, and the Castle of Angels. The absence of synchronized GPS and Audio makes many parts of the experience frustrating.

Rome is an amazing city.... - Rome is an amazing city. The audio tour was great, gave alot of history as to how rhe historic buildings came to be. The place to meet the bus is easy to find and boarding and un boarding was seamless. The tour is incredible. A must do!

Great view at night - Great way to see popular sights at night. Easy access and relaxing since you don’t get off the bus at all. We book at the last minute but was still able to get on.

Great experience - Superb experience it's a bit expensive but it's not stolen we had booked in advance fortunately because many people, do not hesitate to arrive at least 1/2h before to be at the top, the audio guide works very well, manipulate the buttons of the case in front of your seat for volume and language, it lasts an hour, beautiful presentation, very interesting, we see where we are explained the essential, we keep a good memory, do not forget to give the part to the driver on the way down 😉

BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE - Touring by bus to see the wonderful city of Rome at night, is a beautiful experience! Attracted by the many advertisements in the city and the many panoramic buses around, we arrive at about 20:00 in Via Giolitti (left side of Termini Station), where after a short time the bus arrives. We pay the ticket (€ 23.00 each), we are given a disposable headset and an illustrative brochure. We leave at 20:20 and start the fascinating view of the beautiful Rome at night. Itinerary Santa Maria Maggiore, Colosseum, Circus Maximus, Piazza Venezia, Castel S. Angelo, Spanish Steps (nearby), Barberini and return at 21:40. Beautiful tour, see the splendor of Rome in the evening, its streets and its unique monuments, is something truly incomparable! Connected with the headphones to the audio guide, clear and interesting, we followed all the explanations provided along the way. Very good organization, friendly and helpful staff, a little engine noise in the upper floor in the back rows, in fact we moved to the lower floor indoors; the price could be a little less, since the tour is a unique ride that does not include stops. The city, however, even at night is extraordinarily unique! Experience definitely to do, highly recommended!!!!

Did not get the full promised sites delivered. Disappointed no Vatican on the tour. - My friend and I enjoyed the night tour, and we were looking forward to seeing the Vatican and during the tour, we got the description on the pre-taped audio, but the bus never went to the Vatican. This was specifically advertised on the tour details, but this part of the tour was not completed. We were so disappointed and feel like if the Vatican was going to not be on the tour, that we should have been notified before or during the tour by the bus drivers and/or guides. This was false advertising, especially since the photo to the left on this page is of the Vatican and the Basilica. We went by another site twice with the same narration. Sadly disappointed.

Relaxing and stress free - We read the reviews and arrived early and were immediately placed into a line for our bus and were the first to board. Only one couple did not make it to the top deck and it appeared to be a choice. We had arrived late in the day to Rome and this was a very pleasant trip through the city. It’s not the best opportunity for pictures because we are moving and the camera needs a little more time to capture an evening picture. However, it was a relaxing and stress free way to see the city the first night of arrival.

Chaotic. - They tell u on the website to get there 30 mins before the night tour is due to start. The ticket says 15 mins. We got there 40 mins before and just about got a seat as there was already a long queue (with people reserving for families). I don’t know if they seat people downstairs but who wants that? The staff are pretty clueless and I watched two families arguing with the gormless staff when they couldn’t get on the bus. There is also no guide at night. They run the same audio track as in the day. We did the day loop and we had two Aussie kindergarten kids in front of us that did a funnier commentary. So, really not with the money and far less sophisticated as Big Bus Singapore.
