Many of the inhabitants were also buried before they could escape. The drive from Rome to Pompeii is 3 hours.

Wonderful day trip - Fabio was wonderful. Considered all our needs through the day. He even made lunch reservations for us and put us in the most wonderful restaurant. He was a great driver!

Una giornata meravigliosa - Pompei was on my bucket list for a long time and I thought I will need days for exploring the area. Therefore this trip was for me mostly to taste the ancient atmosphere. However I realized that with a great guide you can learn a lot about the place even for a few hours.
Sorrento and Amalfi coast with its queen Positano are known for beautiful landscapes with colorful casas, breathtaking bays and amazing seaviews. I was stunned as it was beyond my expectations. I higly recommend it!
Big thanks goes to Fabio, who was exceptionally kind and very well prepared to show us most spectacular spots on the trip.

My excepcional trip one day - We really , we enjoy the trip, one friend who live in Canada recommend this trip. I will choice just the Pompeii tour and my friend share some pictures with us, I called her, where is this place she said, Positano and Amalfi Coast and she explained that the tour give Viator, I had checked and showed to my husband who was agree.
It was worth it. The experiencia that we have it, the driver show the place, prepare your cámara, for special places. The driver helped me and husband to get in and off of the van, very gentleman.
Stop for got coffee and washroom, anything we need it, help to us. We always choose Viator in our tour, we went the last May to Vancouver, etc. any country that we have been.

Great experience! - Mamma Mia! I can’t say enough about the experts drivers, Carmine and Aniello that picked us up in Pompeii and drove us to Praiano. They were excellent and do very helpful! This is a wonderful service!! Call them for all your needs! Don’t drive there!!! Just call them- you will be so glad you did!

Our trip with my new favourite driver Fabio to Pompeii and Positano - Fabio our driver was fantastic We got to make some beautiful stops for photos . The vehicle was very clean and he is a wonderful driver I would definitely recommend him as a driver

Amazing tour of Pompeii and Positano - This trip is 100% worth it! Our driver Fabio was so nice. The air conditioned van was great to take us to Pompeii and Positano. The tour of Pompeii is definitely worth paying more for. After Pompeii when driving to Positano, our driver, Fabio, stopped a bunch for different photo spots of Sorrento. He also showed us a delicious restaurant in Positano for lunch. This tour was fantastic!

Fabio is the BEST tour guide - Best experience! Fabio was amazing, he was everything you want in a tour guide. He was patient and let us stop off to take pictures, very kind and nice. This was a great tour and very enjoyable experience. Use this travel agency to book all your tours in Italy if you can I wish I knew they had more tours available when I came then I would have booked all with them!! Fabio is the best!

Great day - We booked this through Tripadvisor. We had Fabio with us the whole day who made us laugh, accomodate our needs, and was really kind. He showed us the beautiful town of Positano. Be mindful you need to choose the choice of Pompeii ticker otherwise you will have to pay 20 euro for this. Wonderful day

Fabius was great! - The trip itself was great but don’t tick the ticket and guide pre-purchase option. I paid double the amount of the other passengers (and they chose no ticket, no guide) we all got the same experience. This is a sham!! Viator also refused to give me a refund! Be careful!!

Unacceptable vehicle - First, a positive. The driver assigned to the trip was outstanding, very personable and professional, a pleasure to be with. However, the car assigned was unacceptable, with seats forward and backward facing, barely any space, and rickety. The driver told us that the car was a replacement. I paid a significant amount for a trip was interesting but far from comfortable. We were with another family, which was considerate enough to be facing backward for the entire trip. Not sure what they paid, but for us, not worth the money at all - do not recommend.
