Pompeii was incredible, well worth your time to visit - Despite the rain and the delay in the start of the tour (out if the control of the tour advisor) still a tour well worth doing. Tour guide was very friendly and apologetic even though issues were out of her control. Tour is worth it just for Pompeii but the drive to the Amalfi Coast is incredible as well.

Excellent guide and driver - Poorly conceived tour itinerary. - It’s so hard to give this tour the honest review that it deserves, as the staff who ran it at every point were faultless! Our tour guide was Viviana and she was simply amazing. Our driver was Enrico who was similarly wonderful. At Pompeii we were lucky enough to have the excellent expert guide of Bernadetta. The problem with the tour was the design of the day. I totally expect that the day will be a long one, but combining Pompeii with Positano is ill conceived. The two are simply too far apart and the logistics of getting a full bus load of people into Positano with shuttles adds to the time. Really, a more accurate description of the tour should be “Pompeii, Positano and 9 hours on a bus looking at Italian freeways”. The day was almost 14 hours long, with one 20 minute rest stop either way and 20 minutes for lunch. The road travel is so long that they even pre-order lunch ahead of time, so it can be eaten on the bus if required. Take out 2 hours for Pompeii and 90 minutes for Positano and that’s a long time on the road looking out a bus window. I loved seeing Pompeii again, Positano is over rated but the investment of time on the road to do both in one day is not worth it. I would not recommend this particular tour unless you desperately want to see both.

Hard to Ignore… - A bit weird. The Tour Guide kept telling us her personal business including that she isn’t really a legal Tour Guide. Something about not being licensed. She became irate with (and went chasing after) a few of the people in our group a few different times - once because they left the group to use the restroom facilities we passed by at Pompeii. She had a very exaggerated Italian accent with tons of rolling and rolling her R’s - it became irritating very quickly. The bus driver was fine and the scenery was fabulous. Just had to keep trying to ignore the ramblings of the ‘guide’…

Good guide and driver but way too much for 1 day - we had 14 hours on the bus and very short stops at Pompeii and Posita - While we had a lovely young girl as our guide, this trip was way too much for 1 day and onlu allowed a very short tour of Pompeii, which didnt feel very comprehensive. Way too long fighting trafiic and sitting on a bus for 14 hours. Positano was not worth visiting - teeming with people and only there for about an hour.

Book with a Different Company! - Trip was overall very disorganized. Our tour group leader had no idea what was going on, and was very confusing throughout. Multiple people were getting lost in our group because she was so unclear with what was going on. We almost left people on multiple occasions because she could not give clear times or instructions. When you stop for lunch they try force you to eat at what is essentially a gas station with the worst food. The description said we would have time to go get lunch, and when we asked when we need to return for lunch to make sure we don’t miss the bus, the tour leader refused to tell us a time that the bus would leave telling us we would be leaving in 5 minutes, trying to force us to eat at their gas station restaurant they partner with. We went and got food anyways, and made it back in plenty of time (30 minutes before they left) (against the will of our guide who lied about times and would not speak to us like adults). She also made announcements to the group saying that there is no food in Positano (your next stop) and you absolutely can’t find food there, (which is just a straight up lie, there is plenty of food if you would like to wait). All of this “scaring” the group into eating at their partnered gas station restaurant. We had some cold weather as well and they would not allow the group to eat inside in the empty dining room, so everyone has to eat their gas station food outside in 40 degree raining weather. Pompeii was great! Guide was a little rushed, but overall great experience at the site. Positano is also great! They will take you through some tourist trap areas, like your limoncello stop, but the town is super cute with lots of shops, food and treats. If I were to do the tour again I would definitely pick a different group/company with more organization, kinder tour leaders, and with less underlying deals with companies that they try to bully you into.

Not worth the bus drive - I was beyond excited to visit Pompeii, and was very excited to book this tour but ended up disappointed. A rushed visit to Pompeii, a rushed pizza on the bus and touristy and overpriced Positano for shopping was not worth the 7+ hours spent in the bus. Spend a little more money and book a private tour and enjoy a nice sit down lunch in a restaurant. And go to Sorrento instead of Positano. Sonia seemed nice but pretty unapologetic about the tourist traps being overpriced.

Sardine can transportation. - Pompeii was amazing. The guide in Pompeii was great. The trip was ruined by the transportation. A 6 seat van with seats facing each other. Extremely cramped, no leg room and you are in it for 6 hours. Positano was essentially closed for the season. Not much open and no help from the driver. When we got back he stopped the car let us out and we had no idea where we were. Told us our hotel was “100 meters that way”.

Trip Ruined! - The trip was great up until the end, where during our shuttle down to Positano the tour company and driver crammed us into the shuttle and without properly checking to see if we were seated correctly. We came to a hard stop and were thrown against each other, with a woman breaking her nose and another breaking her teeth! This completely ruined the experience, and the tour company is refusing to take accountability for their failures in taking care of us and in their horrible selection of drivers.

Bad time management - Disaster; Our time in both cities was cut very short by their time miss management, Plus the tour ran over to 14 and a half hours instead of an already long 12. Extra long day for extra short time on both Positono and Sorento. We had to cancel evening plans with friends. Super Frustrating!!! The bus was old and broken down. Ceiling panels were literally falling down. Our seats were broken and stuck in the reclined position, giving us both sore backs after 14.5 hours. No WIFI as promised, only a confused apology. Not even cell phone charging options. All in All a Horrible & Disappointing day. Then insult was added to injury at the end of this extra long day as we had to endure pitch after pitch for more of their upcoming tours on the late long ride back; Are You Kidding? A Total Disappointment of a day. 😬😡

Double check the time on... - Double check the time on your ticket when you arrive at the plaza I did not. The time was changed from 7:30 to 7:15 so we missed our tour. Even though we were there in plenty of time, an hour prior.
