Amazing Once in a Lifetime Experience! - We are very thankful for our guide Dennis to show us around! He was very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. We loved listening to the history and asking questions, which made viewing the Colosseum and Roman Forum even more interesting and special. Plus not having to wait in long lines is a huge plus. LivTours was really easy to communicate with and very responsive to all my questions prior to booking. I would definitely book with LivTours again and highly recommend Dennis as your tour guide.

We learned so much from Paolo! - We loved having Paolo as our tour guide to take us through the Colosseum and Roman Forum. He is very knowledgeable and his English is superb, making it easy for us to converse and learn from his expertise. I especially loved the book he brought with him, which had pictures of “current day” Roman structures, but then he had an overlay photo and it would show what the structures looked like in their heyday. SO different from what I ever imagined. He also helped us think through the lens of ancient Romans, how locals would spend their day in the Colosseum, and walked us through the different types of Gladiator (who knew there was more than 1 type?!) I highly recommend this tour with Paolo and we are so happy we were matched with him for this tour.

Tour guide Davide is incredible! - Our tour guide Davide was incredibly insightful and he enriched the extraordinary experience! He kept the tour engaging and thoughtfully answered all of our questions. He showed us unique insider features that could otherwise easily be looked over and he took great pictures of my travel group at incredible look out points.

Book with Gaia - Our guide was Gaia.
She is a wealth of knowledge and very accommodating and warm to my family of 8 adults(4 seniors) and 1 toddler. I would highly recommend LivTours and Gaia!!

LivTours are the Best! - My wife and I were in Italy for 23 days in May 2025 and of the 8 tours we took we took 5 of them with LivTours! Why? Because they are the best! When I heard Angelo interviewed on the Untold Italy Podcast I was instantly sold. His passion for his business and his understanding of what constitutes a first rate experience for travelers wanting to get up close and personal with the sites in conjunction with top notch, very qualified guides, was just what I was looking for. My wife and I opted for 2 semi-private tours in Florence (Duomo/David & Uffici) and 3 in Rome (Colosseum/Forum, Evening Food Tour, & Vatican). I recommend LivTours highly and would not hesitate to book additional tours when we return to Italy!

Awesome - Giovanni was a phenomenal tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and a great sense of humor. Delivery of relevant historical information. Great planning based upon our needs. Overall I would rate this a 10 of 10 experience!
