Paula's voice is simply amazing and this was the second event we attended and couldn't be happier with the experience. And of course the guide thru the crypts was very knowledgeable and passionate about conveying that knowledge.

A magical experience - After a morning spent touring the Vatican Museums (which Dante surely included as the sixth circle of hell in his Inferno... didn't he?) and an afternoon at the Colosseum on our first full day in Rome, we were convinced that the entire city had fallen victim to overtourism. The concert hosted by Paola (who not only personally handles reservations but is the group's spectacular soprano) and her colleagues at Roma Opera Omnia was a balm for our frazzled nerves and was a reminder of the art, music and history that goes unnoticed right under the noses of the crowds. I came with my 12-year-old daughters for a beautiful hour of Renaissance and Baroque choral music, followed by an in-depth tour of the Capuchin crypts. Our guide provided context that made our descent into the crypts less macabre than moving--a memento mori, a reminder that as the monks are now, so will we all be. Okay, let's be real, it was still macabre--I mean, come on, art made from human bones--but also beautiful and moving in its own way. I highly recommend this wonderful, immersive experience in the history and music of a magical city. Grazie mille, Paola!

Incredible experience - I chose to attend based on a recommendation and it was a strange but wonderful mix. We started with a concert of beautiful music from 16th century. It would have been worth going for this alone. I had not heard about the Capichin friars and the tour through the display and Church was fascinating. Our guide was great, bringing the history to life. Then we had the adventure of the crypt, fascinating if somewhat strange. The concepts of the order displayed with the bones of the friars. I highly recommend this experience if you’re in Rome.

Heavenly Experience - What heavenly music! Paola and her three companion singers were a delight. Such divine a capella music lifted the roof of the Capuchin refectory. I enjoyed the experience so much that I felt transported. Thank you. As for the tour of the museum and crypt!? Fascinating. The guide was excellent though she said she was nervous and it was her first time. Many thanks, Paola. Tina O’Donnell

Bis orat qui bene cantat - The concert of sacred music was the highlight of our trip. The group was outstanding in their musicianship, their blend, their sensitivity, etc. Nice selection of musical styles too. Our tour guide was also outstanding. Nice explanations and distillation of a lot of material.
