Great private tour of Ancient Rome! - We took the 7 hour best of Rome with 3 hour guided tour Colosseum/Forum/Palatine and it was truly amazing. Our van driver Manuel was both personable and knowledgeable about Rome. The tour guide, Francesca, was passionate about Roman history and took time to thoroughly answer any questions my family had. Together they made the day extra special and one my family will always remember.

Layover tour with kids - Our family with kids 7 and 10 had a long layover in Rome and I wanted to make the most of our 14 hours. My communication with the company before our arrival was excellent. Our driver, Claudio, reached out to me before we left the USA to make sure things were all set for our early morning arrival. He was waiting for us at the airport and took us for amazing day of site seeing. He had a booster seat for my daughter and was super flexible when our kids needed to make several emergency bathrooms tips throughout the day. Claudio was an excellent driver, and always professional with us and kind to my kids. We saw so many places in one day! He was informative and changed the tour according to our needs, even though as a driver and not a “tour guide” he couldn’t walk around the places with us. We hadn’t slept much in the plane and I was worried that would make everyone too tired to enjoy our experience, but Claudio kept the walking to a minimum, and kept us cool in the a/c of his minivan. If we come come back to Rome, I would ask for him again!

Highly Recommend - We loved Max, our driver! He was wonderful, took us to all the places we wanted to go. He helped us navigate the sites and was always ready for us when we were done. He helped us with my dad who is in a wheelchair and made our Rome sightseeing possible with dad. When the tour was done, he took us to the best pizza place to pick some up to take back to our hotel. Max was informative and gave us a great tour! I would highly recommend this tour!

Well organized and easy way to see the top sites in Rome in a day - Our private tour of Rome was a highlight of our Mediterranean Cruise. Our tour guide met my family of 5 when we debarked from our ship in Civitavecchia. We traveled in a luxury air conditioned Mercedes van to Rome for a full day tour of Rome and the Vatican. The van was able to go places that large tour buses could not go to. The Vatican portion of the tour was with a separate Vatican tour guide. The entire experience was top notch and informative. I've been to Rome several times in the past but it was kids first visit. We all loved our tour. It was fun, well organized and easy for us. Michael, our tour guide was very helpful and friendly. He also had us back to the ship on time. I highly recommend Rome Private Excursions and would take another tour from them in the future.

A wonderful Rome personalised tour - Sal was amazing in Rome during our half day tour, so knowledgeable and helpful with a great attitude.
He answered every question and took really good care of us. We saw all of Rome and learned so much.
We will highly recommend Sal to our friends visiting Rome.

Complete tour of Rome in one day! - Massimo was an amazing guide. He is full of knowledge and entertaining. He is an absolute gentleman as well. He will get you where you need to be and educate you along the way.
He also helped us find a restaurant we wanted to visit later in our trip and even called to make our reservation.
He was the best!

Great tour! - Our driver gave us a history of Rome and dishwasher well explaining what all the sights were. He also did very well at getting us to everything we wanted to see and made the day go smooth. We had a great time!
