A Day of Thrills and Laughter
The day began with a burst of energy as my fiancée and I embarked on the Private Zipline, Cavetubing and Altun Ha Tour. Our guide, Brian, was a charismatic force of nature, blending humor with a wealth of knowledge that kept us engaged from the get-go. We kicked off the adventure by sampling some local cashew fruit, a delightful introduction to the flavors of Belize.
The journey to the ancient Mayan city of Altun Ha was a fascinating one. As we explored the ruins, Brian’s stories brought the history of the Maya to life. Floating on the Sibun River, we drifted into the cool darkness of the caves, surrounded by the eerie beauty of stalagmites and stalactites.
