- Altun Ha - Once our guests are pick up by our driver/guide they will then be driven through Belize City as they make there way to the Altun Ha for there tour. Guest will be able to see some land marks of City such as the Baron Bliss Light house as well as the Museum of Belize a brick building that was use in the past as a prison. The drive is approximately an hour to the site. going north from Belize City. Along the way you will also get to see portion of the historic Old Belize River use as the first mode of transportation before there were any road net work in the country. You also get to see a few rural communities in the Belize District along the route. Once at the site you will be able to access and use the well sanitize rest rooms from there your tours begins with first with a walk through the museum on the site. Your guide will then accompanied you to the Mayan site of Altun Ha were you will be provided a guided tour with detail information of this ancient but important Mayan City

Great Tour Well worth it! - Albert picked us outside the gate. You need to walk through Diamond International building. Once you are outside ask someone who looks official where is A plus tours is at. Albert was wearing a red tshirt. Can’t remember if it is a uniform or not.
The van was clean and he provided 1 cold bottle water each. The drive is about 60 minutes each way. If you get car sick easy take something prior. Lots of twist and turns the last 20 minutes.
Albert was full of local knowledge and very good at it making it fun. He is a great teacher and tour guide.
The ruins were a lot of fun. An hour or so is plenty unless you are really into it. Personally I like taking a few photos and getting to actually climb them all. A lot of the ruins else where you cannot do that anymore.

Friend Group Private Tour: Great Experience - We booked a tour for our group of 8 friends. Our guide Frederick made pick up & drop off very easy. Despite the hot weather, we got informative & humorous knowledge of the ruins. Frederick was kind & helpful - we especially appreciated the bottles of water he iced down for the group considering how hot it was outside. We got picked from the airport and were able to stow our bags in the van while we did the tour. We got dropped back off at each of our hotels afterwards. Would definitely recommend.

Loved exploring the ruins! - What a great experience!! The tour felt private with how kind and attentive the tour guide was! We felt alone in the ruins exploring every ounce of the area! It was about an hour drive out, spent an hour there and came back! It was perfect time spent and I would highly recommend

Perfect half day tour from Belize City - Fantastic half day tour from Belize City. Pretty easy drive while getting wildlife, history, and culture from our excellent driver, Albert. Perfect for the half day that you gotta stay in the city to get to or from the airport. Picked up at our hotel and dropped us off at the water taxi (we are spending rest of the week in San Pedro).

Amazing trip to Belize City - I was an amazing experience, short distance from my hotel. The tour guy was great, I ended up doing similar trips with them to other Mayan temples.

Altun Ha Tour - We had a great tour with Albert. He picked us at our hotel and as an added bonus offered to take our luggage and drop us off at the ferry after. He was a great driver, very knowledgeable and listened to my husband's questions and stories. We were the only two on the trip and we arrived before the cruise ships crowds.
Altun Ha was worth the visit and you can still climb a few of the structures.

Fantastic intro to Belize - Albert was fantastic! We eneded up with a solo tour, so we had plenty of time to chat and ask questions about Belize. Very knowledgeable and friendly!

A 1 time deal - The actual Altun Ha was very interesting to learn about. The site was very clean and beautiful.
The tour is almost an hr long. You can walk around and look at things yourself after the guided tour. Our tour guide was nice and funny. I forgot his name.
The cost is $85 but that doesn't include the entrance into the park for the guided tour. So it only includes the ride to and from your destination. I was on San Pedro Island. So 1 1/2 hr boat ride that i had to pay for and ride round trip and another hr to the park a d back. Then I was only there for an hour, was not worth my time. I'm glad I did it and our guid gave us lots of information about Belize. But for the money and my time it wasn't a good value. If your staying on 1 of the islands plan for a trip that will be worth your time and money. Especially your time.
