Unique and Local Food Tour - We had a great time on this tour! We tried a lot of unique food from local establishments and even spoke to a few owners. Everyone was super friendly and you could tell the first place we went to was big with the locals because there was a line out the door of people grabbing food before work. Just to clear up some confusion we had, the trolley in the description is basically an open air bus that would drive us around from location to location (I attached an example photo). We felt like we really went all over the entire island! There was no a lot of walking but getting onto the bus is some big steps. The tour started at 8am but pretty soon you lost track of time. Don't eat breakfast. There's plenty of food between all of the stops.

AMAZING Local adventure - This is single handed one of the BEST excursions we’ve booked. John and Marsha with Hike BVI were knowledgeable and attentive and super friendly! All of the local spots we visited were ran by amazing locals and they welcomed us with open arms to their Tortla establishments and treated us like family. We sampled turkey and salt fish patties, fresh from the tree cottage mangos, kingfish and fungi, mauby, fried chicken, chicken roti with mango chutney, passion fruit juice, brisket and strawberry lemonade, and gelato! Whew, we went back to the shop with our hearts and our bellies full!! Do not skip of this excursion while visiting Tortola.

Ate our way through - Cloe was so sweet and really worked hard to make sure we had a great day. We stopped at 6 different stops and ate our way through Tortola. I love that the places were local favorites and not just touristy type stops. The food was awesome and we will definitely do again when we come back!!

Enjoyed very much! - We very much enjoyed this tour. It gave us a chance to visit a variety of restaurants that would have been difficult to do since we did not have a car. Each restaurant had unique character and we got to taste local favorites. We often got the opportunity to meet the owners or chefs. In addition to the restaurants, our guide gave us a tour through Road Town, took us to a scenic lookout, and shared the history of the islands. Our guide grew up in Tortola and was able to answer our questions about life on Tortola. We did not have any dietary constraints. If you do, be sure to let your guide know at the start.

BRITISH AIRWAYS SERVED EXPIRED ROTTING FOOD IN PREMIUM ECONOMY. - These are the events that occurred on/after flight BA0085 on Friday Oct. 17 2025. 1. I always reserve an aisle seat so that my right arm can extend into the aisle for a short period of time. 2. My confirmed seat reservation for 19G was changed several times by your staff without my consent. 3. They even re-assigned a regular economy seat in the 33rd row, despite the fact that I had paid $360 more for the upgrade to Premium Economy. 4. I was seated in 18D, next to a wino. 5. At dinner time, Gary I. was the server, and asked us if we would like beef or chicken. Because I wear a pacemaker as well as a mechanical heart valve, I must constantly be aware of my INR, and I know that my body can NOT tolerate hot spicy foods such as the masala spiced butter chicken. 6. Therefore, I chose the beef. I was told by Gary that none was left. 7. My neighbour passenger wino received her second choice, the pasta. 8. So I also asked for the pasta. Gary then told me that none was available. 9. However, he continued to distribute pasta dinners to the rows behind me. Apparently there was enough for other passengers, but not for me. 10. His colleague on the other side of the plane then asked him for a beef dinner. 11. Low and behold, he miraculously found one at the bottom of his cart. 12. He then passed it over my head and over two rows of passengers to his colleague. 13. He refused to distribute it to me. 14. He then refilled the winos glasses and spilled white wine on my dress trousers and and my white dress shirt. 15. Because of the spillage I smelled like a 1/4 bottle of wine for the duration of the flight. 16. He kept promising to bring a piece of pie instead, which he never did. 17. He then went to his supervisor 'Rebecca?' and lied to her about me being obstinate about having a complaint about the 'beef'. 18. She tried to deflect and blamed ground crew, and told me that I should have accepted whatever they gave me. 19. The other crew member, William, kept talking over me and refused to allow me to explain that hot spicy foods as well as sugary drinks do affect my INR, which dictates how much medication I must take for my health. 20. William then stormed off. 21. Gary then continued distribute dinners to everyone, except me. 22. A short while later, William tried to buy me by offering a small 1/16th piece of apple pie. But offered no apology for not issuing my full dinner. 23. Gary still was offering, but not delivering, his promise for a pie. 24. Gary, Rebecca, William and Antonio all had very disingenuous smirks. 25. Rebecca then came back with a 3x5 ceramic plate that had 4 totally flattened 2x2 inch circles of dough. 26. She then mockingly told me that it was my pasta 'dinner'. 27. This plate was accompanied by a dry, stale roll which had a clear mold spot on top. 28. The included 'salad' was nothing more than a torn 2x2inch piece of lettuce with half an olive. 29. All four crew members, Gary, Rebecca, William and Antonio found it hilarious that they allowed their passenger in Premium Economy to starve for over 8 1/2 hours while feeding all other passengers. 30. All three were so badly embarrassed that none of these chickenshits dared to reenter the Premium Economy Cabin. 31. Antonio ended up distributing the breakfast meat pie. Because they had left me hungry, I asked for two. He did open them for me since I am a 73 year old senior, and could not do it. 32. When I looked at the expiry date on both boxes, I discovered that the Best Before Date had expired in August 2025. 33. Your crew distributed bad food. 34. At exiting time, one of your crew condescendingly commented "thank you madam.' even though he could clearly see that I am a male. 35. I had paid $360 surplus for Premium Economy, but received NOTHING in return for that sum. 36. Your website keeps refusing to submit this list of grievances. 37. I have a pacemaker implant as well as mechanical heart valve, so I can't tolerate spicy foods. 38. During the flight I suffered a Transient Ischemic Attack(mini stroke). 39. After the flight my INR was down to 1.7(At risk of blood clotting; normal reading is 2.5 ~ 3.5). I am a frequent flyer with All Nippon Airlines, 610 117 1323 I am certain that the above events do absolutely have no place in a Premium Cabin which your passenger has paid a large sum of money for, and therefore I request a refund of $360 which is the amount that I paid for the upgrade, but did not receive.
