White Lotus Delight - We had a wonderful day with Martina and her crew. The weather was magnificent and we had a long stop at Isola Bella where we were docked for lunch and beach time. Afterwards the sea got a bit rough and although we made each scheduled stop to see the grottos and caves, we could not swim in the caves or grotto lagoons due to the rougher conditions. But the skipper navigated the boat with skill and expertise and those who were in the front, like myself, didn’t get splashed with water even though the boat hit many large waves. Thankfully It was an enjoyable ride without any sea sickness and the crew did an excellent job in making sure we were comfortable in every aspect. They served prosecco, soft drinks, chips, and fruit and music on board. During our lunch stop, we had two hours of free time. You have the option to venture out on your own or you can opt for lunch from the restaurant that transports you from the boat to the beach. This will save you the $10/pp transport fee. For convenience we had lunch at the restaurant and it was quite good. Everyone enjoyed their meals so I’m glad we decided to have lunch there. Afterwards you can either spend some time lingering on the beach and walking over to Isola Bella or stay in the lagoon area swimming where the boat docks until everyone returns. Our two hour stay was extended to about 4 hours due to the changing sea condition which was a treat even though we didn’t get to go inside the caves in the later stops.
The boat was equipped with a large floating mat that several could lay on at the swim spot but were short on noodles. This is the only point I would suggest to the provider because the water is very deep in Isola Bella and having extra noodles for non swimmers like myself is a must. I had to wait until the few that were available were free before I felt comfortable to jump in. That said, the Ionian Sea is very salty. So you hardly have to tread water to stay buoyant and the water is perfect temperature in September. It is quite a delight and the scenic route we took was spectacular. The White Lotus aspect of it was not overlooked either. For fans of the series like myself, they took us to spots where it was filmed and we got to see the white lotus resort, beach club and the famous area of the finale (which I won’t spoil for those who haven’t watched the series). It was a fantastic tour and the crew were amazing.

Beautiful boat and amazing captain! - Francesco was such an amazing captain and took great care of us. The boat is so nice and they navigate some big water so perfectly that we still had an amazing experience. I highly recommend this. Oat and Francesco to everyone. Such a beautiful day on the water!!

Lovely boat trip - A lovely way to spend the day seeing the coast from the sea and swimming of the boat. Crew were very attentive. The boat is immaculate.

A difficult start, but ended up being a lovely day out! - A terrible start as the meeting point was not obvious. We walked back and forth along the marina asking all the locals, we called twice to get the exact location and eventually was guided to the boat.
Once on the boat and on our way, all was soon forgotten. A lovely experience with an English speaking crew to give us all the interesting facts about the coastline and history.
Super spot for lunch overlooking Isola Bella was magical.
Water, fruit and Prosecco served on board.
Overall I can recommend however the meeting point instructions need to be improved to avoid such a stressful start.

Not worth the money - We went with Romeo boat trips. The crew were pleasant with limited English. To be honest I expected more for the price of the tour. Little to no info was given on the area, we were also expected to pay €20 each for a forced boat ride to the shore in Taormina where we had a 2 hour break. Staying on the boat wasn’t an option. This was not communicated prior to the trip. On the way back one of the guests on the boat was allowed to drive the boat for some time which is completely unprofessional. The positives is that the boat was lovely and they had a few water toys, and the area is beautiful.

Decent but overpriced. - Overall, this excursion was disappointing given the price we paid. The boat was nice and the crew experienced. We did not see as much as we anticipated, we made 3 swimming stops and stayed close to the port the entire day. We were provided water and one small glass of sparking wine but any additional drinks were extra. The trip included a lunch stop at a local restaurant that was not included in them price and took almost two hours of the trip. We enjoyed the company of the other guests but just felt like the cost was too high given the fact we had to provide our own lunch and the minimal drink and food options on board. Other guests on board felt like we did, decent trip but we all felt like we overpaid.

Disappointing and overpriced - This was completely misrepresented, as over 8 hours, we barely moved from one beach to the other - 4 km out and 4 km back. We basically saw the Palace, a cave, and that was it. They parked us in front of the Palace for the morning - the view for which is visible from land. There was not enough snorkelling equipment, and what there was, was defective. 8 people were on board, but there were only 3 masks, and the one of the three failed to work properly. We were told to get another, and given a pair of swim goggles! There was no shade. And, despite the fact that it was represented that we were to have our alcohol included, they only had 4-5 bottles of prosecco for 8 hours for 8 people on board. Lunch on the beach was 2 hours, for which 40 minutes were spent trying to get the cheque and back on the boat. There are many other tours for half the time and price.

No tour, no visit to caves. Very expensive for what it offers - Pleasurable, although there is no route, always in the same place. It gets long, quite expensive not to include food and drinks on board very scarce.
