A Journey Through the Andes

As the sun rose over the majestic Andes, I found myself embarking on a journey that promised to be as thrilling as it was enlightening. The Volcanoes Route was a perfect blend of adventure and discovery, taking me from the bustling city of Quito to the serene landscapes of Cotopaxi National Park. The early morning departure was invigorating, as the crisp mountain air filled my lungs and the sight of the towering volcanoes filled my heart with awe.

Cotopaxi National Park was a revelation. The park’s diverse ecosystems are a testament to the resilience and beauty of nature. The next day, we embarked on the legendary Nariz del Diablo train ride, a feat of engineering that defies the rugged terrain of the Andes. The train journey from Alausi to Sibambe was nothing short of exhilarating.
