Savoring Italy: A Culinary Journey in Rimini

In search of an authentic Italian culinary experience, I embarked on a journey to Rimini to partake in a hands-on cooking class. The promise of crafting pasta and Tiramisu from scratch was too enticing to resist.

A Warm Welcome in Rimini

As a seasoned traveler and culinary enthusiast, I have had the pleasure of experiencing many gastronomic adventures across Europe. Yet, the allure of a hands-on Italian cooking class in the heart of Rimini was irresistible. Upon arrival, my wife and I were greeted by Patrizia and her mother, Carla, in their charming home just outside the bustling city. The atmosphere was immediately inviting, reminiscent of a family gathering where laughter and the aroma of fresh ingredients filled the air.

The class began with the preparation of a classic Tiramisu, a dessert that holds a special place in my heart. Patrizia guided us through each step, ensuring that we were not mere spectators but active participants in the creation of this iconic dish. The process was both educational and enjoyable, as we layered the mascarpone and espresso-soaked ladyfingers with precision. The Tiramisu was then set aside to chill, allowing the flavors to meld together while we turned our attention to the main event: pasta making.
