- Christmas war museum - Unique fortification elements of the World War I field associated with the legendary Christmas battles have survived in the museum. The Christmas Battles Museum’s open-air exposition reconstructs the fortification system, an integral part of the first line of German defense, the “German rampart”, the only such facility in the Baltics.
Inside the museum you can see the exhibition “Latvian Riflemen Christmas Battles”. Over 200 photographs, battle schemes, and items found in the Tire River Mire provide interesting historical accounts of the events of that time. Indoors you will also see the largest mock-up of battlefields in Latvia, depicting several square kilometers of Christmas battlefields with World War I fortifications.
- Pētera Upīša Dārzkopības muzejs - For both locals and tourists, Upītis Garden has become particularly popular with lilac, which traditionally hosts a “Lilac Festival” with classical music concerts every spring during lilac blooms.
In spring, the garden can also be visited during cherry, apple and pear bloom.

Rundale Palace Museum (Rundales Pils) - The Rundale Palace Ensemble is the most outstanding Baroque and Rococo architectural monument in Latvia, built between 1736 and 1740 as the summer residence of the Duke of Courland Ernst Johann Biron, a favorite of the Russian Empress Anna Joanovna. The palace was designed by the famous Russian court architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli.

Trusu Pilsetina - The only rabbit town in Latvia where you can see more than 65 breeds of rabbits living in miniature wooden houses. It is home to a wide variety of breeds - Dutch, Czech, butterfly, hermelin, satin and others. It should be mentioned that each rabbit has its own document - a pedigree certificate, which records 5-6 previous generations. There are also sheds for ducks, geese, chickens, pigs, sheep, goats, ponies, calf and dog on the campus.
