Good (cruise) customer experience - We were unable to complete this tour due to our cruise ship missing the port (due to weather) however I did want to note how easy it was to communicate with this tour company and that there were no issues getting a refund. Before the tour, I asked if they'd be able to accommodate cruise passengers due to the timing and they quickly replied that they could. The refund was processed quickly and with no questions. I'd definitely recommend this company and plan to take this tour if/when we get back to the Azores.

Spectacular Views, Great Company, and Delicious Food - Another excellent day exploring São Miguel—this time the west side, including Sete Cidades. João was once again a fantastic guide: warm, knowledgeable, and full of great stories and insights about the island. The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking, and the tour was perfectly paced. Lunch was delicious and added to the overall experience. Highly recommend this tour if you want to see the iconic beauty of São Miguel’s west with a truly outstanding guide.

Best tour of the Acores! - Magnificent. Joao DaCosta gave us the sights, the history, the flora, the fauna - Fado music on the way back -- the TOTAL PACKAGE. Over the TOP. Best tour ever!

It was the best decision! - I had the pleasure of participating in a tour of the western part of São Miguel Island, and I must admit that it was one of the best decisions during my stay in the Azores! The tour was perfectly organized and the guide - João is a real expert! João passionately shared his knowledge about the island's history, culture and nature. He told us fascinating facts about local traditions, ancient customs and even the volcanic history of the island. Additionally the entire tour took place in comfortable conditions. If you're planning a visit to São Miguel this tour is an absolute must. Not only will you visit amazing places but you'll also experience the true atmosphere of the island and learn what makes it so special. I highly recommend it and was the reason I choosed to book another trip!

Fantastic Tour - We had an incredible day touring São Miguel with João. We were so lucky with the weather—it gave us perfect views of Lagoa das Sete Cidades and the stunning landscape around it.
João was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience even more special with his insights about the island. The lunch included was also a highlight—delicious local food in a beautiful setting.
Highly recommend this tour—you’re in great hands with João!

Great day on Sao Miguel - Our guide Manuel was excellent. Lunch was generous and delicious. Even with mixed weather, the sites visited were beautiful.

Seven Cities is not just the lagoon! - The western region is really amazing, but throughout the island of São Miguel there is a lot to see!
Getting to one of the various viewpoints and being able to admire the lagoon of Seven Cities, even on a rainy day, with only one color, is always beautiful!
The bridge, in the middle, is barely seen in the distance, so much water!
The village has a church that stands out among huge trees, is dedicated to St. Nicholas and deserves a visit.
Behind the church, sometimes cows walk on the pasture and are quite large!
There are restaurants in the village and one is right next to the church, on the right and has the same name, Nicolau.
There's a souvenir shop on the left.
Next to the lagoon is a very good place to stroll and admire the surrounding nature.
