Good ride and historic - This is well worth a visit while in Rhodes! But do it after you have seen the Palace of the grand master and the acropolis etc and you’ll be amazed at the amount of history it includes and you’ll recognise all the places you have visited like us! It’s a great attraction and applicable for all ages!

Well worth a visit - An interesting and exciting way to get to know the history of Rhodes. The children thought it was funny when it rained inside the hall. A positive surprise was that the story was available in Swedish.

Fun and engaging way of learning! - Great fun, informative and a way to shelter from the sun in Rodos! Went with my husband and children (10 and 12) and all enjoyed it - a good way of learning a bit about the history of Rhodes in a fun way that appeals to kids and grownups alike. Do the chariot race one as an add on but of fun!

Interesting and well worth a visit - Well worth a visit to see the history of Rhodes Really enjoyable experience Would recommend ! You do get quite wet though so bear this in mind if you’ve just styled your hair !

Throne of Helios - 9D cinema Rhodes - We visited this as part of a pre booked excursion through our holiday provider. We were quite excited to see what it was it stated effects of sound, motion, scent, rain, snow, wind and fire. The story itself was interesting, we were sat at the very back of the theatre in the middle, we were tipped forward and back quite a lot. We could see all of the other seats from our view point too, and the back row did not appear to move as much as the rows in front. Some of the sound/story was drowned out by the fans/additional effects, we mainly just felt the odd puff of air and got sprayed with water, the larger fans were not felt at the back, but the 3D effects were good with the glasses on. Whether there was supposed to be any heat for Helios or icy cold for another part of the story remains to be seen for our particular showing, there were no scents either that were very apparent. We have visited similar attractions like this before and unfortunately this one was a little lack lustre. Mainly go for the history which is really interesting, the waiting area has some interesting information too. Would not recommend if you have motion sickness from simulator type rides, Otherwise a cooler way to spend 20 minutes. Priced at €13 per person.
