Brilliant - We went on the day trip to Symi island and honestly had the most amazing time. The ride was bumpy initially, but once you’re out the choppiness dies down and we really enjoyed it. They opened up the front of the boat after a while and we loved sitting with the wind in our hair! On the way back we sat on the top deck and discovered it was much less bumpy up there. Symi is absolutely beautiful with lots to explore! We ate in a restaurant by the sea listening to the waves and then explored a little beach before heading to some shops. The swim stop on the way looked super fun, they hand out noodles and snorkels etc. The boat has 2 toilets upstairs and one downstairs. You can buy food and drink on board or bring your own. Crew are very friendly! Amazing trip and a must do!

Great day out to Symi from Rhodes - Very professional crew and good communications. Nice boat. There are faster passages but the journey is half the fun. Swimming off the back at St George’s Bay was great and we were the only boat there (late April). 4 hours in Symi was enough for a good wander

Symi great, journey not so. - Enjoyed Symi but not the journey. We originally booked the 10.45 fast boat trip (total 6 hours) that went straight to Symi, stayed for 3 hours which by the way is more than enough. Got a message saying that trip was not running so I was offered to be put you on the 10.00 (no xtra charge) total time 8 hours, which included a swim for an hour on the way. These trips included hotel pick up. Now the further you are from Rhodes port the earlier you will have to be ready for the pick up. It's was 8.20 by the time it had stopped and picked us up and with everyone else on route it had taken 1hr 10 mins to arrive. Then they would not let us on the boat as we had the fast boat ticket, so lost my place in the queue. They had not given us a new ticket, eventually sorted. Ok now the fun starts, the boat is the "Doll" a nice modern boat which can hold around 220 people. Unless you are in the queue early you will not get on the upper open deck which holds around 72. There were a lot of disappointed people who had to sit inside. Even up there its very tight, with the same space as you get on an aircraft. Now this is why I originally booked the fast boat, it took this boat nearly 2 hours to get back with no stops from Symi. Then with the coach back to the hotel ended up being an 11 hour day. Symi is well worth seeing but there are faster options than this.

Only take a ferry. - Too expensive; the included food was not hot enough. Honestly, I should have only taken a ferry; I would have saved a lot.

Cruise to Symy - There is no commentary and no order to boarding some people boarded early and reserved seats which was unfair. No commentary and no idea of what was going on till we asked.
