Highlights
  • Volcano Eyjafjallajokull - Iceland’s most notorious volcano is undoubtedly Eyjafjallajökull, which last erupted in 2010 and caused flight disruptions in Europe for weeks.
  • Seljalandsfoss - On your way back from visiting the glacier lagoon, you’ll stop at one of the more unique waterfalls in Iceland, Seljalandsfoss. What makes this waterfall so special is the footpath behind the waterfall which, when the weather permits, allows for a whole new perspective.
  • Skogafoss - Before reaching Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, you will stop at Skogafoss, a stunning waterfall that allows you access to great views from both below and above, by way of a staircase.
  • Vik - Restroom and dinner break (at own cost)
  • Glacier Lagoon - Vatnajokull glacier is massive, covering 14,000 sq km and it is Breidamerkurjokull, one of the many sections of this great glacier, that creates the magical Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. From there is an easy walk down to the Diamond Beach where you can see icebergs that have washed up on the black sand beach, glittering in the sun like jewels.
  • Diamond Beach Jokulsarlon - During the scheduled stop for Jökulsárlón, we recommend that you check out the Diamond Beach that is only a few minutes’ walk away, to see stunning icebergs scattered on the black sand beach.
  • Vatnajokull National Park - You will have unforgettable views of Skaftafell wilderness area in Vatnajokull National Park.
  • Skeiðarársandur - Drive through the starkly beautiful black sand expanse of Skeidararsandur.
  • Vik - Here it is possible to buy lunch, shop for souvenirs, or take a short walk in the village or down to the beach.

Excellent Iceland tour - The weather was exceptionally pleasant, allowing us to partake in unique and diverse experiences. The beauty of the glaciers left a lasting impression, and I find myself frequently reminiscing about those moments. I eagerly anticipate our next journey, hoping to relive those cherished memories once more.

Fantastic trip and Kristi a great guide! - We had an amazing tour today. Kristi was our tour guide and she was so friendly and knowledgeable. She made the journey fun, informative and was a great help answering any questions. The tour itself was fantastic - we had some great stops in between the main sites and despite it being a long tour, the day went very quick. Thanks to our driver Piotr for driving us safely. Would highly recommend and Kristi was fantastic!

Great experience - What a wonderful experience we had! Each and every stop was worth seeing. Our guide Mario’s was great in explaining the facts and even telling us the popular stories about Trolls. The trip was a little too long so be prepared to come back around 11 o clock at night.

Great trip, great tour guide - Karen was very knowledgeable about all the history, language etc. Great sense of humour and so friendly. Loved the sights but only thing I was sad about was not much time at the locations visited. Can’t be helped though as it’s a 14 hour day with lots of travelling. But if a whistle stop tour but amazing experience and definitely recommend

Nice - This was a great tour! We really enjoyed ourselves. Loved the glacier boat ride. The tour lasted 15 hours so we’re extremely tired!

Tour was great, tour company less than stellar. - The trip itself was wonderful. The tour guide was informative and was accommodating to our drop off needs. My issues are with the tour provider. We selected a ‘no pickup’ option because the pickup locations were all with an easy walk of our condo. The night before, they changed it to a 40 minute walk away and earlier. When I had contacted them previously with an unrelated question, they got right back to me. When I asked them to change the location back to the original pickup - crickets. They also don’t allow food or drink on the bus (other than a capped bottle). While they did stop, it would have been nice to eat a snack on the 14 hour tour.

Invest in a smaller group/ private transfer - I would not recommend this tour. The tour guide we had was Brandon and he was not nice and was visibly very annoyed whenever we asked a question. On the bus we tried to ask something and he ignored us. The only reason why this tour might be worth it was because we saw a lot in a single day but the tour guides should never be this rude. He also rushed us at every stop and told us there were no diamonds on the diamond beach when there definitely were.

Tour time cut shorter than advertised - We were supposed have an hour at the glacier lagoon and an hour at diamond beach. No one was late on the bus ever and we didn't run into any traffic so there was no reason the itinerary shouldn't have been followed, yet if you chose to do the lagoon boat tour, you had no time to go to diamond beach because they cut us 30 minutes short what it should have been. If it was 2 hours total like advertised, there would have been plenty of time for both. I reached out and the company was of no help and was not concerned with this.
