Incredible experience! - I booked the snorkelling through the tectonic plates at Silfra with this tour company which included transfers and it was incredible! Our guide/ snorkelling instructor Nikos was great. Very knowledgeable, supportive and funny!
The snorkelling itself was great magical views, the water was not too cold due to all of the clothes/ and dry suit- i went on the 20th Dec 2024. I would highly recommend booking this activity.

Once in a lifetime experience - Absolutely loved this activity and couldn’t be any happier, we wanted to thank everyone involved for the treatment,
specially our wonderful snorkeling guide Isamar who made the tour even better.
The views are breathtaking and the suit keeps you dry the whole time !

Great view. Good experience - Filip was amazing. Great and safe tour guide underwater. Snorkeling between the plates. Beautiful scenery. Remained warm compared to temperature of the water. He coached us before during and after he was informative and cautious, and very careful with us.

Great Experience! - Had to do this! It is expensive (it’s Iceland!) and it is cold, but to touch the two tectonic plates in crystal clear (2 - 4 degrees) water is one of those ‘must do’ experiences.
Friendly and welcoming staff who take their time setting you up in the gear. They give you a thermal under-layer for the drysuit, but I also wore thermals as well……advisable (particularly for your feet)!
The fissure is fascinating. You’re only in the water for about 45 mins, but worth the cost nevertheless. To be honest, the cold doesn’t allow you to do much more.
To cap it off, I think they’re one of the few that includes photos in the price. Well done to them.

Unforgettable experience - Snorkeling in the fault between two continental plates is a unique experience in the world. We were harnessed completely and therefore there were no water infiltrations or excessive cold sensations (just a little close to the ears and hands, the parts sometimes uncovered). For the rest there was no difficulty in movement in the water. Appreciable also the snack and hot chocolate offered at the end of the experience! The only flaw are perhaps the biblical waiting times to enter the water, since you have to wait your turn after the other groups... otherwise that poor hour spent in the water is unforgettable.

Silfra lsnorkelling experience - Francesco the guide gave us a fantastic experience
The tour was Overbooked which resulted in shortage of dry suits in correct sizes (ours were way oversized)
the wait in freezing conditions was ridiculously long getting colder all the time
Being in the water was far better than the wait out in the cold
Lucky to catch return bus he was on his way out when we had to flag him down

95 minute wait for pick up. - Booked for a 8:30 pick up, and was instructed to arrive 30 minutes before. This lands us scarfing down breakfast and making our way to our bus stop at 7:50A. We proceeded to have at least 25 buses come and go, picking up everyone but us. This process is frustrating since the moment any tour bus pops up, everyone bum rushes the driver and if you don’t get there in time you miss the name and then the door closes and they drive away. This naturally is creating anxiety for everyone involved. At 8:45 I call AA and they say my driver is on the way. Mind you it’s 34 degrees outside at a bus stop we have now waited an hour for. And we then proceeded to wait another 35 minutes. Once we were on the bus, the driver was apologetic and said he was called in an at earlier start time and he didn’t realize he needed to do his job until 8:44a? He said he would
Make up time and he was sorry. We were told on the phone, on the email, on the website to have patience for up to 30 Minutes after the start time.. and I think I had beyond that. I was picked up at 9:20a. Allowing myself the extra ten minutes because nobody told me to do that. I waited a total of an hour and twenty minutes at a bus stop. The experience was nice, the instructors were kind and knowledgeable. The driver dropped
us off closer to our hotel which was kind. But at the end of it this morning I received an email asking me to review my snorkel experience and it says my start time was 10a…. Now this is absolutely false, and really pisses me off. I was going to chalk it up and let it go but if you want a review then here it is. I’m sure if I wasn’t at my stop for the 30 before or after like they were asking over and over they wouldn’t have tracked me down and found me. If they just called in the bus driver the minute I called them they should have been honest and up front. It would have allowed us a chance to go get warm, grab a coffee, something. But I had to stand around for another 35 minutes. Once again the divers were kind and informative, and the stars are no reflection of them.

Cancelled tour without any notice - They cancelled our tour without any notice (I found out when they no-showed at the meeting spot and had to call them to find out it was cancelled) and required that I fill out a refund request form to get a refund, rather than them just proactively refunding me

Terrible experience, do not book with this company - Terrible experience. Waited over 2 hours to enter the water, fully suited up in all the heavy, cold and wet clothing, and stood in a long queue. Clothing was tight and uncomfortable to wear for that length of time. Clothing is extremely tight around the neck to stop water from getting in, but I did not expect to stand for over 2 hours in it. I would not recommend using this company. A complaint was made via email, but remained unresponded, and eventually, a response was received, but no consideration was given to the wait time, I was told it was completed within the time frame stated on their website. Be prepared for a very long wait in unpleasant conditions, try using another company.
