Reykjavík Food Walk - I’ve been to Iceland a few times, but had never visited most of the places featured in the tour. What an incredible collection of foods and restaurants. My trip was made better for it. Lenny was an excellent guide. I recommend this for anyone!

Lenny was amazing! - Had a food tour today and our host Lenny did an amazing job. He not only took us around to have delicious food at restaurants we wouldn’t have tried on our own, but also explained the history and context of each dish. He also explained different historical context of some buildings on our walk. Everything was set up when we arrived at each location. We simply sat down and enjoyed food, chatted, and went to the next location. Very smooth and fun experience. Highly recommend

Must do! - Our guide ‘Love’ was truly passionate about her town and the food. 4 great stops and thankfully saved the hotdog stop for another time. Which was welcoming as couldn’t have fit it in 😁 Highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic!!! - Great time on the Reykjavik food tour with our guide Tomás! He is extremely knowledgeable of the area (as a local), and was great to talk to and ask questions. This was the first food tour my family has done and we thought it was fantastic. Our 9 year old really enjoyed it. All of the stops were awesome, with different foods, and tasty! Enjoyed the group and meeting other travelers. 10 out of 10 stars!

Great Experience - Dave was a fantastic tour guide. He was very funny and knowledgeable and waited for the slower members. The places we visited all had very good food offerings. A real taste of Reykjavik.

Delish variety of food, and generous portions. Wine and beer selection at each stop were perfect too. - Delicious variety of food and restaurants. The portions were generous. Everything was really, really tasty. The wine and beer selections at every stop were affordable and delicious. My only negative was about our guide Dave. We were at the meeting place 20 minutes early, sitting right outside the main entrance and at the meeting time he sent me a text saying where are you, meet us at the first restaurant. Turns out he was inside and never took the time to even open the door to look outside and ask if the people he was texting happened to be standing out there. We were 10 meters from him. second issue with him is he wasn’t a great host. there was a single woman in our group who was left sitting at a table for two separated from the rest of us and he never noticed her. I had to mention him that he ought to find a way to bring her into the group and then he did. The third issue is all he talked about was his drinking how he drank a liter of reyka vodka in four hours blah blahblah. His main talk was about drinking. Lastly at the hot dog stop he thought telling us about bill clinton had been there, and then an off color remark about Monica Lewinsky. Really? I just didn’t think that subject was suitable for our tour. But I loved the food and bev part of the tour.

Super fun and great food!! - This was such a lovely experience! We were only in Reykjavik for 2 days on a layover and decided to give this tour a chance and we were not disappointed! We stopped at 5 places, tried various food and drinks and learned some really cool facts. Thor was great and super knowledgeable! Would recommend!

Amazing! - Bonnie was absolutely wonderful. She made sure to interact with each individual group of folks who were on her tour. She gave good information about all the dishes before we were served them. Completely wonderful and lively. Very easy to talk to and provided good energy to the group which itself was a great collection of folks. Pretty solid value as well.

Too long - We landed at 6am and went to the blue lagoon and then the food tour. By then we were all super hungry and tired. The guide was great, very friendly and informative. But we all left hungry. The portions for the food were so small. And the tour easily could have been 2 hours, not 3. It seemed to drag on. I would not suggest this tour going off of no sleep and an empty stomach.

It was just ok - We booked our food walk through Expedia, but Expedia doesn't let us leave a review so here I am. The food was hit and miss. After looking at description and where they said we would be going, I was expecting more. I feel like a lot of the food was very similar. Like three different places had lamb and the rest were fish. I understand that's their local cuisine but it would have been nice to have a little more variety. I also think that our tour guide was not very knowledgeable about what food was being served. He was more concerned about the alcohol and getting people to buy drinks since I'm assuming they get a cut of drink purchases that were not included in price of the tour. It would have been nice if some drinks were included to compliment the food.
