Excellent Tour - plus cats! - What a gem! We did this walk on our first full day in Iceland (Reykjavik). Bardi, our guide, originated the walk. His knowledge of history and of the area was excellent. In addition to seeing the main sites, we did get to visit with most of the "famous" cats of Reykjavik. Bardi is very congenial - his talk incorporated history, mythology, and just plain fun. I highly recommend this tour.

A unique tour! - A unique, fun, great tour for cat lovers! Barði is a true cat lover, funny, knowledgeable, caring and the perfect guide for this tour! We encountered many more cats that I anticipated and the visit to the cat cafe, which included a hot drink and cake, was very nice! Barði also gave us insights about Icelandic history and concluded the tour by introducing us to his own 3 fur babies! Definitely recommend to any cat lover!

Nice tour - The tour was wonderful and our guide was full of information. I enjoyed meeting all the famous cats of Reyjavik. It was just the right length of time and I would recommend it especially in the early days of a trip to help you know what to look for. :)

Cat Walk So Much Fun Worth Every Cent - The tour was excellent. There were only 3 of us plus a guide in training. We saw the famous four cats of downtown Reykjavík. Ofelia, is such a snuggle bum, I visited her almost ever day I was in Reykjavík. The tour was very complete with information about cats in Iceland and Iceland lore and mythology. Our stop at the cat cafe was lovely and it was great that it was at the half way point of the tour. Highly recommend this tour.

Fun intimate tour for cat lovers - A fantastic tour around the best cat spots in Reykjavík. Stefan I. was friendly and knowledgeable and a great guide. There is some luck involved since we are visiting real locally famous cats, and we felt especially lucky that we got to meet them all! If you’re a cat lover and looking for a smaller tour with a focus on local cats and cat history, then this is the tour for you!

Great first introduction to downtown! - This tour was our very first excursion in downtown Reykjavik. Our guide Barði led my partner, myself, and another couple through the streets leading uphill over the course of the afternoon. Barði was insightful, funny, and of course as cat-crazy as they come. We were delighted to learn about the city's "celebrity" cats like Baktus and Ofelia, making bumping into them as we shopped feel like an A-list sighting. (And of course, the stars in L.A. are a little less welcoming of a scratch behind the ears.) Funnily enough, the included stop in Kattakaffihusið (the cat cafe) included the most asocial and ornery cats we encountered during our entire trip. Of course, not every single stop was about cats -- sometimes it was about the historical and political details of why there are so many cats! Barði's stories and insights helped colour our experiences in Reykjavik, and I'm pleased to report that many of the restaurants and stores he recommended lived up to the hype. The trip ended with a surprise visit to Barði's home right near Hallgrimskirkja, where we had a meet-and-greet with his own fluffy friends. The treats didn't end there, as he also gave us cat-themed stickers and an album of some photos he'd taken of the group. When the email arrived from Your Friend In Reykjavik with the link to the album, there was also a free e-book full of traditional Icelandic recipes to try at home. All in all, the tour was a gentle introduction to navigating downtown Reykjavik that helped shape the rest of our trip for the better. Thank you to Barði and YFIR!

Not worth it - While the cat cafe was good but small the guide we had was horrible. He seemed uninterested or spaced out in some way
