Great food and great tour leader in Noki - One of my favorite tours. We had a beautiful day and our guide, Noki, was the best. He shared info about the city as we walked. The tour offered a mini-meal at each stop. Not just a cracker or a taste! A light meal! Noki was fun, informative and high energy.

Tasty Tour of Iceland's Food Scene - My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide was Einar and he took us around to a number of fun, tasty restaurants. Being foodies, it was interesting to learn about and try the various local favorite dishes. Einar was also extremely knowledgeable about Iceland and answered our variety of questions with interesting and insightful information about the country.

Reliably Good - This was a perfect way to sample the cuisine of Iceland and to explore Reykjavik. Our guide, Einar, was knowledgeable and charming, and the tour was a joy. This was not our first time taking a tour with Your Friend in Reykjavik and we will seek them out when we return to Iceland.

Loved the food and the storyteller - Stefan and the food were amazing! Stefan told great stories about Iceland and was patient in answering all our questions. I was not looking forward to trying pickled herring or fermented shark. But I trusted this tour group would not set us up for failure! This was one of many highlights on my trip.

This is a must do tour! - We met our guide Oli at the meeting point, and he felt like a friend right away. He took us to some great local restaurants/food stands, which we wouldn't have considered on our own, but the food delicious. We even tried the fermented shark. I liked it! If you go to Reykjavik I would totally recommend that you take this tour on your first night. It's a wonderful way to get comfortable in the city.

January 2024 food tour private couple - Great little tour. Lots of fish, a little lamb, and tons of iceland. Nice guide who walked us around downtown through 5 different restaurants. Lobster bisque, lamb or spicy tomato soup, flea market dried cod, pickled shrimp, then taste of iceland for sweet treats.
