Absolutely Amazing Experience - Miro was an absolutely amazing guide throughout our entire experience for the Northern Lights Tour last December. He was very communicative before the tour about how the chances & weather were looking and the potential options we had. He was so informative throughout our trip with what they use to chase them and where we were going looking for them. We were so lucky to spot many more of the lights than we thought we would, and he was willing to drive us to places that he thought we’d have much better chances. The photos and videos he took all night were absolutely amazing. Icelandic Roamers is worth every penny & more, we will definitely use them if we come back!

Bucket list experience! - All I wanted for my 40th birthday was to see the Northern Lights and Icelandic Roamers delivered and then some! Miro was incredible to work with, very communicative, and flexible with the weather to ensure my birthday wish came true! Our guide was Robert and he was EXCELLENT! Not only was he kind, informative about the area, and a skilled photographer, he was also hilarious and makes the best hot chocolate! This private tour was the best travel experience I've ever had anywhere, and I can't wait to return and try others with this team in the future! The photos turned out perfect and this memory will last a lifetime!

10/10 Experience! - I had the pleasure of working with Michal from Icelandic Roamers for a private tour and surprise engagement proposal under the northern lights. We started around 9:30pm and spent about 3.5 hours searching. The lights weren’t very strong that night due to the weather, but Michal’s patience and determination made all the difference. He still managed to capture absolutely beautiful photos that we’ll treasure forever.
Beyond his skill as a photographer, Michal is just a wonderful person to be around—kind, genuine, and easy to talk to. He really went above and beyond to make the night special, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide for such an important moment.
I would HIGHLY recommend Michal and Icelandic Roamers without hesitation to anyone visiting Iceland. You’ll be in great hands!!! 🫶🫶

Once in a lifetime experience! You will NOT regret booking! - Icelandic Roamers provided a truly unforgettable experience! I planned a surprise proposal under the mesmerizing northern lights—a dream my girlfriend had always cherished. Michal was punctual and managed to keep the surprise intact throughout our journey. He not only captured breathtaking photos and videos but also shared fascinating insights about Iceland along the way.
The way he found the perfect spot to witness the auroras was absolutely remarkable, and his professionalism shone through every moment. Our engagement photos have even gone viral on social media—a testament to his talent and dedication. Huge shoutout to both Michal and Miro for being exceptional guides, photographers, and videographers. I can’t recommend them enough for anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure!

See the Northern Lights with Siggi! - My friend and I made this trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights. We had just been here five months ago but hadn’t seen them on that trip. We arranged a private tour with TripZig through Viator. The three hour tour was confirmed with Siggi around noon for that night as the sightings forecast was favorable. We were staying in Keflavik and wanted a tour in that area rather than going into Reykjavik. Siggi was a wonderful guide who pulled off onto a service road near a geothermal plant. We witnessed jaw dropping sights of the Northern Lights for two hours. We were able to capture the sights on our iPhones. Beautiful memories.

Unforgettable Experience! - We were scheduled for a private Northern Lights tour on Christmas Eve. Miro emailed us the day before to ask if we had the flexibility to move our trip up a day since conditions were expected to deteriorate the next day. We were able to make it work and set out in search of the lights at 9:30 PM. Our guide, Michal, drove to a couple of locations with no luck. At our third stop right after midnight, we spotted a glimmer of green light through the lens of our cameras. Within minutes, it was a full blown aurora borealis. We were the only vehicle in our location and were treated to a full hour of northern lights. We snapped our own photos and Michal took some great pictures of our family with the lights in the background. It was an experience we will never forget. Thank you to Miro, Michal and the Icelandic Roamers team!

An unforgettable experience! - I booked a private tour with Icelandic Roamers in November 2024. Our tour guide was Michal, the most amazing and sweetest guy ever! We are so lucky to have had him as our guide. He was so patient with me and my plans with my secret proposal. He captured the most amazing photos of my fiance and me. I can not recommend Icelandic Roamers enough. Next time we return to Iceland, I'll book more tours with them!
Michal picked us up at our hotel and the tour took about 3-4 hours. We were so lucky that we saw them, our tour was supposed to be at 7 PM but was pushed back to 9 PM. We went to 2-3 locations to hunt for the Northern Lights. If you book for November, dress warm and be flexible with the lights!

Wonderful Northern Lights Experience - We had the best time seeing the Northern Lights with our guide Robert. He found them on our first night we went out and we had a private viewing spot with gorgeous photos of the lights and the Milky Way. Our five year old son had a blast as well. He played in the snow and drank the hot chocolate our guide provided. The photos were absolutely stunning. We highly recommend this tour!

Wow!! AMAZING! - Our experience was awesome!! Miro was so accommodating and really worked with our schedule. He got some good shots-you never know when and if Mother Nature is going to cooperate or not. If you are considering this, don’t hesitate-it is worth every penny…and the hot chocolate and mini cinnamon rolls were an amazing extra bonus!!

Wonderful! - Wonderful - cannot recommend this enough! Miro was great in communicating prior to the trip to ensure that we went out on an evening where it was likely we would see the aurora; and what a beautiful show we were treated to. He has an exceptional knowledge of the aurora and uses this to find a scenic location to watch the aurora. He took some great photos and videos that we will treasure. Miro was friendly and made the evening a pleasure which was topped off with hot chocolate and cinnamon buns. I would not hesitate in recommending this.
