Amazing - Amazing tour guide Alexander and driver Thor . They were keen for us to have a great experience and took great care during the trip ..We were lucky to see brighter northern lights on the way back when they found a safe place to stop for us to enjoy . The actual spot they picked for northern lights was amazing -Never seen so many stars in the sky- but elusive aurora dint show up well at the spot. It was lovely to hear proud Icelander Alexander talk about his beautiful country.

Northern lights put on a show! - This trip was excellent! We could see the northern lights very clearly from the spot that was chosen. The bus was very comfortable, and the guides were knowledgeable.

Reykjavik Excursions try their very best! - Booked the Northern Lights tour same day. Vedur predicted clear skies in certain areas around midnight. The aurora index was considered low. We left the bus terminal area around 9 and drove to selfoss. The plan was to stay around an hour and a half and head back. We didn't see much, but then, in the final minutes of the tour, the aurora showed up. It was really light, and Benedict, our tour guide, said that we were entitled to come back and redo the tour. It was not a bad deal, as we saw some aurora and could come back if we wanted to. We were the first to get there, and we were the first to leave. On the way back, Simon (our great driver) and Benedict spotted stronger auroras, and we got off at a safe area. It was really good and clear! Benedict and Simon really tried their best to make the attendees happy! Thank you Simon and Benedict!

The best Northern Lights experience ever!!! - The most spectacular, unreal, other-worldy experience I have ever had!!! 100% recommend everyone to go see the Northern Lights - we had the BEST light show and best time ever!! We got so lucky that we had a full hour of show - dancing, corona, changing colors - absolutely magical and truly incredible!

Great Experience 5 Stars - Fantastic experience very well organised. Our guide Monica was very informative. We had plenty of time to see the lights once we had got to the location and they were amazing to see. Would recommend using Reykjavík Excusions, first night that we booked the tour was cancelled due to weather conditions but it was very easy to reschedule.

Magical Experience! - It has been my dream for many years to see the Northern Lights and we were not disappointed! The tour guides are very knowledgeable and check various Aurora forecasts and weather reports before confirming the evening's tour, and choose the most likely location accordingly with as little light pollution as possible. We saw a spectacular display of the lights on the first night we had booked, even with a full moon. This was by far the best value trip and the tickets also included a visit to the Aurora museum which gave a background of the science behind the Northern Lights, the mythology from various communities of people who have lived in the Arctic circle, tips on how to capture good photos and even a VR headset experience. I highly recommend this tour!

A Dream Come True!! - Absolutely Fantastic!!! When I accidently booked the excursion on our travel day, Reykjavik Excursions was so generous by allowing us to reschedule our tour. Our guide, Alexander, was very informative and mentioned it was the fourth best lights he had seen in 9 years with Reykjavik Excursions. What an incredible experience. So glad we went. A once in a lifetime experience. Earlier in the day (01/28/25), we had the pleasure also by Reykjavik Excursions to tour the Golden Circle - National Park and its Southland Low Lands, including Pingvollum - site of tectonic plate formation, Velkomin - site of Velkomin Geysi and Gullfoss - Golden waterfall. Our guide on that day was amazing, I apologize for not remembering his name. Highly recommend this tour.

Bucket list experience - Kat was an exceptional guide - very friendly, knowledgeable and set a nice tone for the trip. We were so lucky to be able to see incredible northern lights when we went after only being there for 30 mins. The waffle van is a nice touch while you're waiting and there are toilets there which is great. An unforgettable experience!!

Family trip for our daughter’s 30th - Pick up details for bus stop 12 were sketchy, there must have been a couple of hundred people converged there and coaches arriving by the minutes and it was very difficult to discover which bus to get on. We thought we had been left behind when fair enough we heard our name mentioned from within the crowd. We were not aware that we needed to get a bus to the main bus station to pick up our tour bus. Once on the first bus everything went smoothly and things were well organised at the main station. Our guide Stephan was excellent as was our driver Seymon. Stephan was very entertaining and knowledgeable. We were fortunate to see the lights and get some spectacular photos. We were able to get a hot chocolate and toilets were available. The coach was very comfortable and but for the initial pick up situation this would have been a five star review.
