Uneven rocks may be... - Uneven rocks may be difficult for physically challenged or older people. Wear a rain coat and it gets pretty cool.

Amazing cave tour with Juan - Super interesting and fun lava tunnel tour. Juan was informative and funny. He gave us lots of time to explore on our own and take pictures.

Interesting tour with great guides - Excellent tour, with very engaging guides. The transfer to the Lava Tunnel was informative, with a guide that gave us many interesting facts about the Iceland and it's language. At the Lava Tunnel we were given a safety briefing before taking the group on an interesting tour through the tunnels and caves through basalt rock. The duration of the tour is just about right and accessible for the majority of people. Bring a coat as the caves are cold, even when the weather outside is warm. The floor is uneven in places, so study shoes are recommended. The walking sticks provided by the venue are useful for older people.

Definitely worth a visit! - Not for the mobility impaired but fascinating to go through. Very good guide in Daphne who shared her knowledge of the lava tunnel details generously and humorously. Nature is amazing in its creations.

Great attraction, driver underwhelming - The lava tubes were excellent but our driver on Aug 22 2025 @1:00pm had NO personally at all. It would have been nice if at least he had smiled.

Adventurous ! - Lava tubes were very interesting. Staff was excellent checking on everyone throughout the tour. We were not aware of the level of difficulty walking thru the tubes would be so part of the party decided to return early and not finish the tour. The tour guide did ask another staff member to check on us to be sure we were ok.. When they suggest walking sticks ..take 2, it would make the adventure easier.

Transportation to/from tour terrible! - The tunnel tour was fine, but lots of walking over rough rocks which should be mentioned in the description of the tour. Transportation was not as promised. We were to be picked up and dropped back at our hotel. Late the night before, I saw a message saying it would pick us at a bus stop. So we walked to the bus stop and waited for the bus. When it came we went to the Flybus terminal where we changed onto another bus. At the end of the trip we were not dropped where we were picked up but at another bus stop and we had to walk 15 minutes to get back to our hotel.
