Cool Cave Tour - I was concerned about touring the lava cave due to my bad knees, but I felt at ease after visiting the cave. First of all, it was really amazing learning about how the lava caves were formed. The tour lasted an hour, which was an adequate amount of time in the cave. While I was concerned about walking around the rocks, I felt comfortable walking through the lava cave after taking my time and walking carefully.

Sounds so plain but it's definitely not! - This was an amazing experience made all the more interesting by our guide, Alex. It's huge! Don't worry about small spaces. The pathway between metal bridging is smooth rocks but you will have your own headlamp on your helmet. The walls have soft lighting. Alex does some sensory as well as informational talks making this a unique experience. The pickup from Reykjavik is long going thru the bus terminal but they move you along.

Fantastic and unique experience! Highly recommend. - This was a fantastic experience. Fascinating and unique experience. Our guide was terrific--entertaining and super imformative. The walking was not easy; but walking sticks were provided for all who needed them. There were some older people on our tour who were definitely struggling. An extra guide came along to help out and make sure everyone was safely enjoying the tour.

Amazing - Great experience, lovely knowledgeable and friendly staff and good bus transfer. Bus return even vac drop you back to the hotel or we decided to go to the central town bus stop to grab a bite to eat. At the lava tunnel there is a small coffee machine you can buy a drink, snack and free toilets to use. Helmets +/- stick provided. Amazing place. Thank you Daphne you were great

Entertaining, Informative and Fun - a one of a kind experience - Went with our 2 sons , in their late 20s. A very entertaining and informative experience. T e science and facts around lava formation, behavior and characteristics along with the cooling process was briefly explained in a interesting way. And seeing the actual lava flow and pooling was great. Opted for the premium experience which added to the experience with overhead seating and a behind the scenes tour of the heating chamber. Highly recommended.

Fascinating conclusion to our Icelandic trip - We did the extended tour in a small group (3.5 h / 6 people). After the illuminated "walking area" for the 1-hour tour, we continued with our own lights only (helmet+headlamp are of course provided). At selected points, we learned interesting things about the origin of the tunnel and the many special features in the rock from our guide. The size of the tunnel, the colors and the different traces in the rock are fascinating. In order to get to the original lava springs and a branch, it was naturally necessary to make rapid progress over boulders. Therefore, for the extended tour, you should pay attention to the instructions on fitness, sure-footedness and clothing.

It dos not value the money - The guide was very good but the cave is not as spectacular as in the pictures, you have plenty of those caves thorough out Europe, and you don’t pay 100€ per person. It does not value that money, you should better spend your time and money it in other tours.
