Amazing Icelandic Excursion - Our ice caving adventure in Iceland was absolutely phenomenal, thanks to our incredible tour guide and bus driver, Slavi! From start to finish, Slavi kept us entertained and informed with his deep knowledge of the area and captivating personal stories from his 17 years living in Iceland. His enthusiasm and expertise made this one of the best tours we've ever experienced. The ice caving adventure felt like stepping into the shoes of a real explorer. Words like "spectacular" hardly do justice to the awe-inspiring beauty and thrill we encountered. Each moment was unforgettable, and I’m excited to share our journey through a video soon. The multiple waterfalls we visited were breathtaking, and we even had the chance to walk behind one of them! This tour was a magical experience that we will cherish forever. Slavi truly is the best guide in Iceland!

Captivating Katla Ice Cave - Fantastic! Eleven hours for a tour sounded like a lot, but activities were well spaced. The highlight was Katla ice cave hike...crampons did great on the icy trail. Our guide Hawk was extremely knowledgeable and fun. Activity level is relative, but this tour is manageable for reasonable fit adventurous travelers. Enjoy!

Awesome experience in an ice cave that won't be there next year. - The best part of this was Alex our Ice Cave guide. He was excellent. The ice caves were terrific!! The waterfalls were also terrific, and it enabled us to change up another tour. Since we wouldn't have seen the same things. Great tour, Greek caves and two great waterfalls.

Out of this world trip - An amazing day trip from Reykjavik. A long day but definitely worth it. Our driver and guide, Gunn, was the best. She did an amazing job of ensuring each and every one of us had a great day. Kept us informed all the way and entertained us with history, background and knowledge of Iceland. Not only do you get to walk on Myrdalsjokull (Kotlujokull) glacier, walk through Katla ice cave and take a ride in a super jeep, you get to visit Gljufrabui, Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss. Plus a visit to Vik and Vikurfjara black sand beach. The ice caves are the highlight of the tour. Amazing! Like being on another planet. The guide for the glacier and caves was excellent, patient and informative. Definitely do this tour!

Best experience with fantastic guides - This was hands down the best experience I had on my trip and I enjoyed everything I did. Thomas was a fantastic guide on the bus, very knowledgeable and interactive. Jakob was absolutely amazing driving the super jeep and leading us up and through the glacier. He was very helpful and paid extra attention to those who needed a little assistance. I would recommend this excursion and these gentlemen 1000 times out of 1000 with zero hesitation! This is a must do if you're an active ,outdoorsy person.

Choose another tour! - A long way to go from Reykjavik (2 hours each way on the bus) for a 1 hour hike and very little information from the hiking guide, Raquel at Arctic Adventures. The 3 hours they mention includes a 40 minute 4 X 4 ride in each direction. They crammed 14 people into the old excursion vehicle and most people could not hear any information about the ice or the area, only the 4 clients up front. 14 people don’t fit comfortably into that truck. With only one guide leading the single file hike, the problem persists outside the vehicle. I’m almost 60 years old, never walked on a glacier, and found this circle path to be boring and too easy. Unless you have small children, save your money!
