Ice cave trip-beautiful, and exciting - The waterfalls were beautiful but the highlight of the trip was the ice cave. In reality the ice cave itself was a little bit of a let-down but the trip to the cave, over the black sand desert and climbing on the glacier were fabulous. I am 74 years old, out of shape, with a bad back and an artificial knee and I was able to make the hike and the climb. Yes it was hard, and a little scary, but I made it. The guides were very helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this trip. Even if you don't feel comfortable climbing up the glacier the sights and scenery are worth trip

Terrific combination of activities! - This was a terrific tour made all the better by the exceptional guides Johanna and Dan. Johanna was a fountain of good information at every turn and genuinely cared about each guest's experience. Dan led the glacier hike to the ice caves and, despise cold and heavy rains, he and his partner made sure we could complete the experience safely and with good humor. That part was somewhat abbreviated due to conditions but it certainly didn't diminish the overall quality. Would definitely recommend this tour for a unique combination of wonderful sights, sounds and hiking excitement.

Must try at least once - Lots of fun. Although very long day and mostly driving. Our driver, Monika was great and provided a ton of info along the way. Our tour guide for the ice cave was also great. Would recommend to try it at least once.

Amazing. - What a great day. We saw a bunch of the southern coastline which is rugged and beautiful. The Katla volcano/glacier was astounding. Our guide to the ice cave was knowledgeable and helpful. My 10 year old quickly felt comfortable and said he’s a glacial expert now. 🤪 bonus: we saw an arctic fox! Great waterfalls on the way home. This was a must do tour. It was worth every penny.
